Walkway to the Beach & Yacht Clubs
Ended up deciding to go to ESPN Club for lunch today.
My lunch today.
While eating received a text that our room was ready. So after the meal made our way that direction.
We had a one bedroom studio at the Boardwalk Villas for this trip.
Interesting they had a copy of One Day at Disney on the table to read and directed you to the gift shop if you wanted to purchase your own.
The bedroom
Still individual soap/shampoo in the room.
A welcome letter and character card.
This card is very similar to the ones we received each night at Disneyland Paris in the room.
Walked up to the lobby to pick up my carryons.
The hallway had some issue.
They were finish up the repair work and patched it over the next day.
Spent some time unpacking and then the rest of the group wanted to take a nap so I set off for the parks. My bus to the Magic Kingdom was arriving.
It featured Wi-Fi on board.
About 20 minutes later arrived at the Magic Kingdom.
A new bag check taking shape at the Magic Kingdom.
Had to push my way through the crowds waiting for this evening Christmas Party to find a regular tap point and enter the park.
A couple minutes later found the relative calm of Town Square.
The Magic Kingdom Christmas Tree

Some renovation work underway as I walked toward Tomorrowland.
More renovation work underway at the entrance to Tomorrowland. Looks like they are removing the design elements on the support columns.
The PeopleMover queue spilled out to the walkway.
It moves fast and in under 5 minutes I was cruising about Tomorrowland.

A closer look at the renovation work. They have stripped the support columns all the way down.
Cinderella Castle
A series of pictures now looking at the TRON construction as I cruised by.
The track is complete and the show building is starting to receiving the supports for the exterior.
Support columns for the elevated walkways are cast and they will soon be erecting the temporary decking then concrete walkways.
No sign of the train path yet or supports for the canopy.
Looking back toward the load/unload and service bays.
A closer look at the side where the supports are in for the exterior paneling that will be coming soon.
Checking in on my boarding group.. still a long way to go.
Video of the TRON construction at full speed the slow motion.
The Indy Speedway has a Christmas overlay but they only turn it on for the party.. regular guests cannot experience it (except for the days right around Christmas).
Passing by the Dwarfs Mine.
A look at the TRON work from Storybook Circus.
Only one worker visible this afternoon.
Warnings on the track that the rail is out ahead.
Passing by Tomorrowland.
For reference what the elements looked like
Cinderella Castle
Received a push notice at 4:34pm that my boarding group for Rise of the Resistance was not going to be called today.
They were only on group 60.
I received a FastPass+ good for any attraction at WDW tomorrow including Rise of the Resistance and a 1 day park hopper.
The other side of the security checkpoint project.
Decided to take the Monorail to the TTC
Just missed this monorail

A new swinging bridge has been installed at the backstage channel.
Work underway at the Transportation and Ticket Center tram stop.
Passing over the new Epcot tram loop
The east side of the Epcot entrance work is nearing completion. Planter and walkway construction looks mostly done.
The area around the fountain is less complete looking.
A new walkway taking shape along the guest relations building.
The walkways around the restrooms for Future World East are all tore up.
A new walkway from the front of the park to the area by the Seas.
A reverse angle of the entrance work.
The new Epcot security checkpoint is below the Monorail station where the trams used to drop off. So now no need to go through security again when arriving by Monorail.
