The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.

  • Starting off our last morning at Pop Century.
  • A crowd level view of the courtyard.
  • The bus wait this morning at 9:39am
  • Made it onto a bus and traveling toward Animal Kingdom at 9:52am
  • Arriving at Disney's Animal Kingdom at 10:06am
  • Through security and heading toward the park at 10:09am
  • The AP line was shortest so used that.
  • Passing by Otter Grotto, no otters.. just a cast member.
  • First stop today, Gorilla Falls.
  • A hippo out in the water.
  • A meerkat family.
  • A short video clip of the meerkats at play.
  • Part of the gorilla family resting by the window. No sign of baby Grace today.
  • We asked about the marks on this one and the cast member said that was from a recent vet check up.
  • Saw some movement and maybe a glimpse of a gorilla up in the bushes, but could not get a picture and she did not come out. Guessing it was the mother and baby.
  • While in Gorilla Falls I was able to move our FastPass+ time up so we could walk right onto the attraction next.
  • Hard to see.. but in the middle of this picture is a sunny d plastic bottle.. the noteworthy thing is this was there all week. First it was annoying that some guest threw something out of a truck at some point but then disappointing that over the course of several days no cast member noticed and picked it up.
  • A stork in the forest area.
  • A black rhino laying around.
  • The crocodiles hide colored markings. The driver said this was because of a recent vet trip for them all.
  • A young giraffe sitting down in the distance.
  • A better view.
  • There were several young giraffe near this tree.
  • An African elephant.
  • Interesting to see a lone male in the large area. The family herd was further away today in a different area.
  • White rhino
  • A cheetah on the hill
  • A male lion
  • Coming around the other side you can see the lioness too.
  • A warthog
  • After an early lunch set off to try and beat the rain and get some pictures of a couple projects.
  • The storm clouds were rolling in faster than forecasted.
  • This area will be changing in the near future as a new security screening area is built and the entire area reconfigured.
  • Heading to the buses at 11:50am
  • Had the bus to myself for Caribbean Beach Resort (at 12:04pm)
  • Passing by Coronado Springs and the new Gran Destino Tower.
  • A lot of gondolas on the Epcot line today, looks to be a full load test.
  • Here is a quick video of the Epcot Disney Skyliner line from the bus.
  • Arriving at the Caribbean Beach Resort
  • The station is looking nearly complete.
  • Looks like work still going on around the building and at the bus stop.
  • The Disney Skyliner system in action above the Caribbean Beach Resort.
  • Disney's Riviera Resort is slated to open in December.
  • A closer look at the hotel.
  • A look at a structure near the pool.
  • Looking across the water as the rain started to fall.
  • A short video clip of the Skyliner in action. This is the Epcot line (be warned the video is rather poor due to me holding an umbrella in one hand and shooting it with the other).
  • The Riviera Skyliner station on the Epcot line.
  • Another look at the Riviera Resort.
  • One section has had the scaffolding removed. Also notice landscaping is starting to go in.
  • I moved closer to the lighthouse and toward more cover as the rain picked up.
  • A closer look at the section that has no scaffolding.
  • Assuming this is the final look and color scheme.
  • The rest of the tower still has scaffolding.
  • Another look at the Skyliner Riviera Station and turn on the Epcot line.
  • The rain started to fall harder as I walked around.
  • Markers in this area. Not sure what the project is.
  • The Disney Skyliner station at the Caribbean Beach Resort is the largest one. All three lines converge here and you can transfer to the line of your choosing.
  • Starting on the right this is where the Epcot line is beyond it those buildings are the entrance to the resort off of Victory Way.
  • Continuing to the left this is where you board and disembark the Epcot line.
  • The one gondola that is back by itself is coming off the spur line where they can stop for those needing more time to board (scooters, wheelchairs, etc..)
  • Continuing to the left this is the back side of the Disney's Hollywood Studios line.
  • To the far left side is the Pop Century/Art of Animation line. The cars to the right are on the spur line.
  • Some work going on outside the station on a large mound of dirt.
  • Gondolas on the Pop Century/Art of Animation line this afternoon.
  • One more look before setting off as the rain was getting worse.
  • Passed a Pirate room on my way to the bus stop.
  • It was getting darker as I walked (it was only 12:42pm)
  • As I reached the bus stop the skies opened.
  • The bus that pulled up for the Studios had a great driver. She pulled almost under the overhang so you could board without getting soaked.
  • By the time I reached Disney's Hollywood Studios the rain let up so I made a quick for a quick walk to check out the entrance area.
  • Gondolas on this line are uncovered.
  • Making my way toward the entrance.. there is no protection from the rain along the path. It is wide open and exposed to the elements.
  • A wall is still up between the parking lot and new tram area.
  • Construction fences are now up from the flag poles to the ticket booths around what used to be the entry/security area. They will be making this side match the first side that just opened this morning.
  • The rain was starting to fall harder.
  • A gap between the two fences to reach the exit straight ahead and security queues to the left side.
  • This is the exit traffic.
  • A large plaza between the bag check and tram drop off. Plenty of space for queues.
  • Looking to the left is the parking lot. Barriers and fencing up there.
  • No waits for bag check right now.
  • Another look toward the tram. The rain was picking up so I took a couple pictures from here then headed for the bus.
  • Heading back toward the buses.
  • There is some cover from the new bus structure from the rain.
  • A final look at the Skyliner as I waited for the bus.
  • Back at Pop Century and preparing to leave.
  • Time to wait for the Magical Express bus.
  • Disney's Riviera Resort from the bus.
  • Leaving Disney property on my way to the airport.
  • Final ride in Orlando.. same as the first.
  • Waiting to board.
  • Some flight information while waiting to push back from the gate.
  • Felt like we were driving to LAX.. had to taxi to the far side of the airport. Here is a look at the new terminal construction.
  • Finally airborne. Took off toward the north so had a view of Downtown Orlando as we turned west.
  • Just before 9pm landed at LAX and taxing to a gate to conclude this trip.
