Taking a walk out to see the Disney Skyliner work at Pop Century before heading to a park today.
A crew was painting the station.
More testing of the boat on the lake this morning.
No gondolas on the line yet.
Just after 9am on my way to Epcot. Passing the turn off for Disney's Hollywood Studios on Victory Way. There seems like there should be a sign closer to the turn.
This sign is right after that turn indicating how to get onto Osceola Parkway, which is actuall after that first overpass.
A look at the Star Wars Hotel as we merged onto World Drive.
The former entrance to the studios. Now just backstage for Galaxy's Edge and cast member parking entrance.
Stepping into Epcot at 9:34am, so about 30 minutes from the Pop Century bus stop including security and ticket lines.
Some of the shade elements were removed on the west side toward the fountain.
First up a FastPass for Soarin.
Followed by another FastPass+ for Living with the Land.
Here is a video of our cruise through the Green Houses of the Land on Living with the Land.

They travel just over the building level but below the tree line for the most part.
The skies were dark and looks like rain out to the south.
Looking toward France
In the World Showcase Lagoon infrastructure to support the new night time show coming next year is being installed.
There are four of these platforms.
Looks like an equipment barged staged on the lagoon.
Finally walked by when they were making cotton candy in China.. only to have it start to rain on me and I had to run for cover.
I sought shelter in China. And of course the one time I would like to sit and stay dry the theater doors were open and I could walk right into the film. After the movie it was still raining outside.
They had first anniversary merchandise for sale for Shanghai Disneyland.
As well as some Grand Opening items still.
It was still raining so I waited for a lull then moved across to the gallery where there was more space than the store.
The rain finally let up so time to head next door to Norway to use a FastPass+
A 50 minute wait for Frozen but it looked shorter than that inside. Seems with the rain less FastPass+ people were showing up too.
Oops.. I had my camera settings wrong so everyone ended up with green faces!
Fixed it.
The skies opened again. I made it as far as the church then stopped to let the cell pass vs getting soaked.
It was about 1:30pm when I exited Norway.
Made my way from building to building and to Future World in between cloud bursts.
Half an hour later I am almost to the bus.. one more rain cell and a small lake to cross to reach the bus stop.
The water was up to the wheels on strollers and over shoes.
Disney Skyliner Epcot line testing today. Looks to be a full load of gondolas on the line.
Made it back to our building and almost our room.
It has been about an hour since I walked out of Norway.
We had an issue with a suitecase.. the handle was ripped off and other damage to it on the way out. Not sure if it was the airline or Magic Express but we called it in and Disney took the bag to repair it. They decided it was not repairable and instead gave us this suitcase as a replacement.
I had not realized it but one room of ours had a full shower the other a bath tub with shower.
The shower drain was interesting.
A closer look.
After drying off and packing a bit we set off for dinner at the Dolphin. It was still raining so we decided to take a bus to Animal Kingdom and transfer there since it had covered bus stops and it was the first bus to show up.
Markings for the upcoming entry project work.
We of course had to go to a different area than we were dropped off in. Luckily the rain had let up.
The rain stopped as we pulled into the Boardwalk and we were ahead of schedule so decided to disembark there and walk over to the Dolphin.
Some pictures of the Epcot Resort area as I walked over to the Dolphin.
It was fairly quiet this evening, it was just after 5pm.
The boat beat us to the Dolphin.
The Dolphin lobby.
Dinner this evening was at Shula's Steakhouse.
There have been some changes to the Steakhouse including a tweaked look.
As well as some menu additions and changes.
No worries the steaks are still there and great!
They have paper straws here too. Also noteworthy fountain drinks are still $3.
A change from my last visit. Each table has a selection of knives to choose from for your meal.
The view from my seat.
After dinner there was some sunshine when we stepped outside.
Decided to take the boat toward Epcot.
Looked like there were setting up for an evening event.

We made our way to the American Adventure just in time to catch the 7:30pm show.
Then stopped by to see the 8:00pm Garden Rocks featuring the Lovin Spoonful this evening.

Turning around the view of Italy.
Took a walk through Italy.
Looking toward the lagoon and Spaceship Earth in the distance as the sun had set.

Time for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, this will most likely be my last viewing of the show as it ends in September.
I watched from the FastPass+ area. Of course I did not pay attention to the wind.. and got caught in the smoke!
Here is some video from the finale to Illuminations Reflections of Earth
The smoke did help to illuminate the lasers.
Goofy Topiary on the way out.
A DJ was setting up for the DVC event after the park closed.
Several pictures of Spaceship Earth on the way out.
Final night having to walk through the Leave a Legacy stones.. these will be removed by my next visit.
I walked a little too fast and caught up to the Illuminations smoke that was covering the bus stops still.
The Pop Century line was not long but still smokey.
30 minutes later back at Pop Century to conclude my last evening at the parks. I head home tomorrow.
