Walt Disney World Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
A nice clear morning for my final hours at Walt Disney World this trip.
A last look at the room before checking out and starting my day.
We decided to walk over to Disney's Hollywood Studios with some friends.
Time to enter the construction corridor.
A good size crowd at the bus stop heading to the park.
A second set of walls up nearer the construction as they prepare to open the new walkway (it opened a couple days after my trip).
The new restroom building looks just about finished.
Arriving at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
This new kiosk is moving along.
Crews working in the former Pixar Place. It will open next year as Metroville from the Incredibles
Making our way into Toy Story Land.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
Green Army men drum corps on the move.
A good size crowd for a Tuesday morning in mid-December.
The kiosk near Star Tours
Used a FastPass+ for Star Tours
Time to head back to the Boardwalk to catch our bus.
1:12pm as we left the park.
The boat captain held the Friendship launch so we took that to the Swan. 13 minutes later and we were walking across the bridge from the Swan.
Plants were being covered around property due to the expected cold temperatures tonight.
The boat we were on at the Yacht Club.
Some random Christmas decorations as I roamed around the Boardwalk waiting for our pick up time.
Most of the phones have been removed. But locations and lights for them remain.
Time to go out and wait for the bus.
A Minnie Van pulled in.
Picked up at 2:35pm.
The former studio entrance on Buena Vista Drive is now for buses only.
That does not stop cars from going in and noticing their mistake and making a u-turn.
Skyliner Cables at ground level, looked to be where they were feeding them up into the system from.
The heavy load cables are installed here but not under tension yet.
Our bus had one stop at Caribbean Beach Resort before heading to the airport.
A look at the large Disney Skyliner Station where all three lines will come together.
This area appears to be where the gondolas not on the line will be stored.
Inside the station there was one gondola visible, assuming they were using it to test clearances and connections.
A closer look.
The Magical Express sign is hung from the support beam vs on its own pole here.
Crews working in the area that was used for the temporary dining during renovation. Hard to tell, but it appears to be going back to a parking lot.
Passing under the Skyliner cables on the way out.
Disney's Riviera Resort from Buena Vista Drive
Leaving Disney property at 3:03pm to wrap up this trip.
Cows as we near the airport.
6:44pm onboard and departing Orlando to conclude this trip to Walt Disney World. For those of you that have clicked through all 8 days worth of pictures I hope you enjoyed them. If you have any questions or requests feel free to drop me an email, direct message, tweet, etc...
