The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Our second set of visitors for the day were delayed so that meant I had a couple hours after lunch so I decided to walk over to the Magic Kingdom.
10 minutes from the previous picture to this one at the train tunnel.. this includes the walk, security and front gate.
Main Street USA this afternoon
The Dapper Dans were performing so stopped to watch their set.
A video clip of the Dapper Dans performing in Town Square.
Some of the current balloon offerings.
The walls were down on Main Street and the recently redone curb/ramp area was visible but roped off.
As I walked I saw Jungle Cruise FastPass+ slots open so I booked one. I arrived at the attraction and this was the FastPass+ return line. Decided to wait since I had some time to kill. It was 2:10pm.
The Standby Line was at 85 minutes. It had substantially less guests than the FastPass+ queue. I counted less than 50 but they were only allowing one or two groups from standby per boat it appeared.
Still a ways to go and over the 10 minute mark since entering that long line.
Something I had not noticed before. There are air conditioning vents overhead in the queue. There was cold air coming out today.
Onboard a board and pulling out.. 2:26pm. So about 15 minutes to use FastPass+
When I exited the line was even longer. It was out near the carpets. It seems this is a regular occurrence since there was a sign for a cast member to hold. Seems to me they should do less FastPass+ per window so the line does not spill out of the queue regularly.
Found a spot in front of Grizzly Hall for the Festival of Fantasy Parade.

Walking through Adventureland. Nice and peaceful with the parade still going through Frontierland & Liberty Square.
Since I was ahead of the parade decided to go up to the train station. The center section was blocked off. Almost as many cast members as guests in the blocked off area.
The start of the parade was just coming down Main Street. I watched a little then caught a Monorail back to the Contemporary.
15 minutes after the previous shot I am walking on the bridge from the Contemporary to Bay Lake Tower a fairly efficient Monorail trip, longer than the walk to the park though.
4:45pm decided to head to Disney Springs for dinner with our visitors. Walking out to the bus stop.
5:21pm on the bus and almost at the Disney Springs drop off.
A healthy crowd for an early Friday evening.
Ended up at D-Luxe Burger, a first for me. It was nice and peaceful when we arrived.
My burger.
After dinner walked around Disney Springs.
Stopped by the Co Op
Annual Passholder merchandise
The Dress Shop

Twenty Eight & Main
Stopped by the Star Wars Trading Post for a look around.
Crowds are getting heavier as night time approaches. It was 6:40pm
The Wine Bar opened this weekend.
Looking toward the West Side. I did not venture down that way. Instead went to check out the recently opened Disney Style store.
A background for photos along the walkway.
Disney Style has taken over the former Harley Davidson space on the corner of the West Side.
A look around.
VHS inspired Notebooks
On the West Side is the Star Wars Galactic Outpost
Another Avengers photo op near the AMC.
Passing by the Coke Building.
Just under an hour to get back to the room at Bay Lake Tower (previous picture was 6:56pm and this one is 7:49pm). The Grand Floridian Yacht was out on Bay Lake this evening.
There looked to be a break in the rain bands so I returned to the Magic Kingdom. Here is Main Street USA at 8:21pm
Found a spot for Happily Ever After and hoped the rain would hold off.
A video clip of the opening of Happily Ever After
Unfortunately a steady rain started about 1/3 the way into the show.
The rain continued to pick up and when it became a full down pour I decided to start toward the Monorail to get out of the rain.
It the on Main Street.. notice the mini lakes as the down pour was more than the drains could handle.
The show was still going on but hard to see. A large number of guests that had stayed continued to watch in the pouring rain.
Hard to tell but there was a nice stream coming down the Resort Monorail ramp as I made my way up it.
The water pouring off the Monorail station roof. In the distance you can just barely see the Contemporary.
15 minutes from Main Street to this bridge back to Bay Lake Tower. The wind was blowing so hard there was no cover.. the water was just passing right through from left to right.
Back at the room we discovered the carpet at the entry way was wet. Called the front desk and someone came up to check it. The A/C unit drain was clogged and it backed up and caused a mini flood in our room and the room next to ours. They fixed it quickly then placed some blowers to help dry out the carpet.
