Walt Disney World Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Walt Disney World Offers fishing excursions out of several of the hotels. Some of our group opted to fish out of the Yacht Club marina this morning to start their day. One of the fun aspects of this early morning trip is you can get some time on World Showcase Lagoon. Here is a video of their trip into Epcot this morning.
Here are some clips from their trip of what it looks like to fish in World Showcase Lagoon and then a couple of the fish they caught.
A better picture of one of the bigger fish of the morning.
Once they were done we all met up at the Boardwalk and then walked over to Epcot to start our day in the parks. This was about 10am.
Monorail gold passing by.
Living with the Land was our first attraction of the morning.
The greenhouses featured some Christmas decorations.
Monorail Silver passing by.
Next up on our agenda was some World Showcase time. Decided to take a Friendship boat from Canada to Morocco to start.
Tower Cranes working on the Riviera Tower
Some of us at lunch at the Liberty Inn. Interesting they had a burger combo on the menu, but none of the other options included dessert or a drink.. just #1.
I always enjoy World Showcase early in the day when it is not crowded.
Spaceship Earth and the Christmas tree.
Italy.
Some pictures of the trains near Germany.
Germany in World Showcase
Passing by China
Used a FastPass+ for Frozen in Norway.
After scanning some other FastPass+ to get everyone through their first three we decided to take the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom.
Only problem was the Monorail was down so buses were filling in. Or maybe they were just trying to convince tourists these are new fangled Monorails not buses :)
This meant a long trip to the Magic Kingdom. 20 minutes from the bus pulling in until we reached the MK Tollplaza.
Today they were lifting the first section of the new overpass supports into place.
Just over half an hour to reach the Transportation and Ticket Center.. this was just the bus trip and security. Tack on a few more minutes for the walk from the front of the park to the bus stop.
Banners at the Magic Kingdom with a logo I do not remember, the joined MK?
Opted for the Ferry Boat to the Magic Kingdom, or a Classic Approach as I like to call it. A look at the Bungalows as we waited to depart.
On our way to the Magic Kingdom.
Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower to the left.
Finally arrived on Main Street USA. It was about an hour since we walked out of Epcot.
Made our way toward the back of the park.
Grabbed a FastPass+ for the Little Mermaid and walked onto it.
Then we picked up one for the Haunted Mansion and most of the group went that way.
A pontoon boat in one of the waterways off the hub. Assuming for the work in Adventureland.
Speaking of the Adventureland work, here is a picture. You cannot see much.
The Dapper Dans strolling out to Main Street USA to perform.
An omnibus pulled out from backstage.
It pulled into position to be used as a sign. Not a guest transportation option.
A long line of guests waiting for the resort launch this evening.
We were on a boat to Fort Wilderness as the sun was setting behind the Grand Floridian.
Passing by the Wilderness Lodge Cabins

Arriving at Fort Wilderness.
Horse drawn sleighs arriving for the evening.
All lined up and ready to go.
We ate dinner at Trails End this evening.
After dinner the next showing of the Hoop-Dee-Do waiting to be let in.
We made the long trek over to the Animal Kingdom. This picture was taken 60 minutes after the previous one at Pioneer Hall.
Due to the longer than planned travel time we had a very short time to explore Pandora after dark. The bus pulled into Animal Kingdom around 7:15pm. The plan was Pandora then 7:45pm Rivers of Light.
Here are some pictures from my brief (only about 10 minutes) of exploration.
The walkway to Africa was rather dark and quiet at 7:30pm when we set off for Asia.
The Tree of Life Awakening projections are now presented on the back side of the tree too. Here is a quick picture.
A very brief video clip of the projections from the walkway. One advantage of the back side is it is peaceful. There was no one around me.
The FastPass+ area looked almost full, across the way Standby had spaces so now just had to figure out where I wanted to see the show.. it was 7:38pm
Just about show time and I found myself on the bridge between the theater and Everest
Time for Rivers of Light.
A selection of pictures from the show. Notice the one lotus blossom has the wrong color. That barge was not working properly most of the show.
The large lotus blossom float did not appear this evening.
8:20pm and at the bus stop heading for the Boardwalk. A Thor bus pulled in. So only at the Animal Kingdom for an hour and walked through Pandora and saw Rivers of Light.
After a stop back in the hotel room headed for Epcot to close out the night with Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.
Back to the Boardwalk to end my evening.
