The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
A last look around my Pop Century room before checking out. This was 8:30am.
Thanks to no lines at the Airline Checkin or Luggage Services made those two stops plus the front desk and was in line for a bus at 8:50am.
This one screen had been out all week. Seems they could get a screen fixed in a week..
We were heading to the Animal Kingdom. A second bus pulled up because of some scooters and slow loading on the first.
Passing the road construction.
Pandora construction from the bus.
Now from the ground near the entrance.
Made it to Discovery Island at 9:26am.. not bad to check out, check bags, drop bags, and take a bus in an hour.
The trail that leads closest to the Tree of Life was still closed. It re-opened a week or so after we left.
At 9:40am the Standby was posted at 20 minutes.. it sure looked longer though.
We had a FastPass+ for Frozen so we got in line for one last Safari. Definitely longer than 20 minutes...
Our truck arriving at 10:22am.. so it took 40 minutes.
A bongo in the forest area.
A young bongo behind the trees
A black rhino
Another black rhino
Hippos were out sunning themselves
As our guide/driver pointed out a gator :)
The dogs laying around.
You can just make out the head of a giraffe in the trees
Donkeys on the far ridge.
Elephant country.

The male lion
Walking through Gorilla Falls.. zebra at the outlook
Meerkats
This gorilla was taking his bed and snacks and leaving.
Walking back through Discovery Island
Still not a fan of Star Wars (and other random merchandise) in the park.. it just does not fit.
A last look at the Tree of Life before moving on. The plan was to go to Epcot and use a Frozen FastPass+ but it went down so onto plan B.
The birds from winged encounters flying by the Tree of Life
Looks like there will be a gate or path through the new berm by the bus stops.
Through it you can see the backside of Pandora
Passing by the Studios
Arrived at the Magic Kingdom. In terms of time the Tree of Life pictures were at 11:15am and this is 11:57am so 45 minutes travel time.
This horse drawn cart was in the hub.
They were going to use it for the Trolley show this morning.
A video clip from the Trolley Show performance.
Cinderella Castle
Decided to go to the Harbour House for lunch.
After lunch passed back through the hub.
And ran into the Street Party.. first time this trip.
Time for my last attraction of the trip.. the PeopleMover.
A video clip from onboard the People Mover heading to Space Mountain.
Heading for the exit.
A last look up Main Street USA
Decided to take the long way back to Pop Century. So heading for the Magic Kingdom Ferry Boat.
Parasailing on Bay Lake visible beyond the Monorail
They were having problems on the express monorail line.. glad we did not go that way.
Something I cannot remember seeing before. There was a train in the station and then two trains visible beyond it on the same beam. They were spaced out but I do not remember them being this close before.
A better picture of the new cast member costumes for the Monorail.
On my way to Epcot. Trucks and equipment staged in the old airfield area.
Construction near the Magic Kingdom toll plaza. A reworking of these roadways is underway.
Approaching Epcot
I believe that empty area is the preferred parking at Epcot.
Cruising around Future World
A closer look at one of the new emergency exit stairways added to the Epcot station.
Another set.
A last look at Spaceship Earth before heading to the bus.
Pop Century bus stop #16... the furthest away on this side.
Last WDW bus trip.
Realized I had not stepped foot into the food area of Everything Pop! this trip.. so did a quick walk through and took some menu pictures.
The beverage station.
The area was not very busy at 2:30pm
Had some time till my Magical Express Bus so went for a walk around the resort.
Continuing the menu theme..
You can purchase ping pong balls at the bar.
Walking through the 50s
Moving on to the 60s
Mr and Mrs Potato Head
Rubiks Cubes in the 80s
The computer pool was closed for renovation.
Roger Rabbit in the 90s
Passing by the bus stop. So tempting to go somewhere.. but I do not have time.
Time to leave.. as we walked out the bus before ours was still boarding. The driver said we could board and we were off to the airport 15 minutes early.
Stopped by the Beach Club
Leaving Disney property at 3:40pm.
Spotted a new train on the tracks as we entered the airport. These will be replacing the current fleet soon.
Here is a current train heading to the main terminal. This was taken at 4:52pm (after grabbing dinner and going through security).
Arriving at a gate in Los Angeles at 9:42pm local time to wrap up this WDW vacation.
