Dole Whips in Harambe..
A posted 35 minute wait for the safari at 5:16pm. Decided to wait since I wanted to try another after dark and did not have a FastPass and 35 min puts me close to dark.
Took slightly longer than 35 minutes.. on board a truck at 5:53pm.
Hippos were moving around with some on shore as we drove by.
A hyena looking away from me!
Turned but not a better picture..
Cattle on the savanna.
Moving into lion country..
This female was moving around.
My pictures of the other lions did not really come out, too dark and not very interesting.
Speaking of dark walking back through Harambe near the Marketplace.
A group of guests watching the acrobats.
Decided to try and make the 7pm Starbright Holidays show at Disney Springs. It was 6:17pm as we passed the Animal Kingdom Christmas tree heading for the bus stops.
Arrived at Disney Springs as the safety announcement was playing and walked quickly to the shore.. arriving in a spot with a view at 6:59pm.. literally a minute to spare.
Show time.. looks like random dots in the photos.. but all those dots are drones.
As they form shapes the pictures are slightly more interesting but not nearly as impressive as the show in person.
The finale.
Here is a video of the last portion of the Starbright Holidays show.
After the show walked around a crowded Disney Springs.
Paid a visit to the Coke store to see the view at night.
Walked up the ramp to the roof since the elevator line looked long.

Not very crowded at this hour.
I did not make it to the Beach Club until 8:23pm. Nearly 45 minutes waiting for the bus and the short drive to the Yacht and Beach Clubs.
As I entered Epcot I was able to catch some of the 8:30 SrarBright Holidays show in the distance beyond the far bank of World Showcase.
The dove was hard to make out.

The laser effects
The smoke was lingering this evening.
Which made for some interesting effects with the lasers.
A video clip of the Holiday Tag to Illuminations
Because of the smoke in the air you could see the laser that is used for Spaceship Earth...
It was a slow bus night.. I was still waiting to board the bus after 10pm. They were using Cruise Line buses this evening, which are slow to load and unload.
Made it back to my room around 10:30 and found this picture from Mickey on my bed.
