- Arrived at the Beach Club at 4:01.. half an hour on the bus from Disney Springs to here. They have bus arrival times on screens at the stop now.
- A tent set up in the parking lot.
- Passed a rainbow created by the fountain spray.
- Pretty quiet in the lobby. It always looks so plain after a Christmas visit.
- Flowers in bloom outside.
- Looking across the lake.
- Heard the British Revolution playing so stopped by to listen to them. The volume was way up so I backed-up quite a ways to where it was bearable.
- Which was about here...
- A look at the band.
- Approaching France.
- Passing by Japan.
- The smoker near the American Adventure.
- Stopped by to see the main show.
- Then caught the Gin Blossoms performing as part of the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
- Check-in for the dessert party. I was not attending but they had a queue set up and several cast members.
- No food out yet.. but unlike the party in Anaheim this one has a buffet with choices.
- Alberta Bound performing on the Mill Stage in Canada.
- Minnie and Pluto
- A band came marching through the area as part of the performing arts showcase.
- Stopped by Norway on my way back around World Showcase.
- The gallery in China is closed off for work. No official word on what will be going in. Would be nice to see something on the Shanghai park.
- The sun setting as I left China
- Helicopters were circling in the distance. Our guess was they were practicing for the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games at the Sports Complex
- Found a spot on the International Gateway bridge for Illuminations.
- Time to head for the exit. It was 9:14pm and my plan was to walk to the Studios for the 9:45pm Star Wars fireworks.
- Passed two or three groups on bikes this evening.
- The truck outside ESPN was open and it features merchandise since the old store has been closed.
- Speaking of the old store/arcade area. It is going to open as a Ample Hills Creamery.
- I cut through the Boardwalk on my way to the Studios.
- The Fantasmic finale as I approached the Studios.
- Almost to the Buena Vista Blvd. bridge.
- Smoke from Fantasmic blowing through still.
- A couple of fireworks cruise boats pulled up. So those guests got to see Illuminations and now Star Wars.
- It was about 7 minutes until show time. I opted to stay across the lake to get a nice wide view of the show.
- Show time. You could hear the sound track but the shells bursting sometimes muffled it.
- Here is some video of the Symphony in the Stars: a Galactic Spectacular from across the lake outside the park.
- Time to make my way through the approaching crowd to the bus stops.
- The Pop Century line was growing by the second. I was near the front luckily.
- This was about 10:10pm.
- Made it back to Pop Century around 10:23pm to wrap up my evening.
