I started my morning off on the Oak Trail Golf Course. This is on the 4th hole.
Coming around to #5.
No deer today.
The approach shot on number 6.
Looking back toward #5 from #7. Is that a small gater on the bank. I thought so.
The course sign at the entrance.
Waiting for a cab, the Mickey golf cart was parked at the clubhouse entrance.
Shades of Green entrance sign as we were leaving.
Back at Pop Century and heading out for the morning. It was around 10:30.
Our bus waiting to be boarded. If you are curious on transportation times. This was 10:42am.
Passing a Captain America bus.
Work along the road. Could not tell what they were up to.
Passing over the entrance to the Studios from World Drive.
On the other side of World Drive a mound of dirt.
And crews working. I think this is a retention pond and will also be the new fireworks launch point for the Studios. Not sure what else is being worked on over there.
We arrived at the Magic Kingdom Bus Stops. It is 11:03am
Monorail Yellow passing overhead.
Just missed the boat to the Wilderness Lodge so we had to wait.
Could have walked right onto the Fort Wilderness one though.
Monorail Orange is sporting a Zootopia wrap.
On our launch and on our way at 11:17am
Realized I had not been on Magic Kingdom monorail this trip. Only done the Epcot line once so far too. Not much Monorail time.
The Polynesian in the distance.
Looking back at the Magic Kingdom Ferry Docks. They were using both docks and three boats this morning.
A fishing boat passed us in the channel near the Contemporary.
An area marked off under the Monorail beam.
No signs of what they are working on.
The Wilderness Lodge. Hard to tell from this angle but the forest had been thinned considerably to make room for the new cabins.
Here you can sort of see the one thin line of trees then clearing beyond it.
The former beach and marina area has construction going on too as a new restaurant is being built.
A closer look.
Time to head toward the lodge. I always enjoy walking these paths.
From this vantage point you can sort of see the clearing but not much else thanks to the fence.
The kids water play area.
The new building as you round the corner.
Looking back at the lodge.
A look through the fence.
It was a great spring day.
Inside all the floors in the corner of the building near the elevators are walled off. Guessing DVC conversion going on.
A closer look
By the park maps they had fishing information.
Next stop the Mercantile
Heading out to the bus stop.
A fishing sign out along the walkway.
Another look at the construction from the walkway to the bus stops.
On the bus to Disney Springs. A look at the new overpass going in for Epcot Center Drive over Buena Vista Drive.
This is to facilitate the widening of Buena Vista Drive.
