The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
The Express Monorail was closed as they were testing the new automation system on that beam this afternoon. Glad we choose the ferry.
Here you can see cast members on the platform with what I assume is the test Monorail.
Passing by the old airfield you can see cabins that I believe were recently removed from Fort Wilderness.
Passing over the solar farm near the entrance to Epcot. Too bad they have to point away so the view from the Monorail is not overly interesting the back of the panels.
Epcot entrance plaza.
Spaceship Earth
A look at the Flower and Garden Festival flower beds as we cruised through Future World.
Noticed a tribute sticker on the front of monorail blue.
A closer look. Jim Vendur was named Vice President, Transportation Operations and Maintenance in 2009.
A new emergency staircase under construction at the Epcot monorail station.
Monorail Orange sports a Zootopia wrap still
The Flower & Garden entrance topiary spotlights Daisy Duck this year.
The Zootopia Monorail pulling into the station.
A closer look at some of the detail of the wrap.
Decided to grab a bite to eat at the Electric Umbrella and figure out our next destination.
Some extras posted a the registers.
If you were curious I asked for chicken nuggets with no fries.. and got this.
The kids pizza is half the adult pizza. Seemed a little adventurous for a kids meal to me. Also odd they served it on the same tray and the adult one so it looked strange to have a large empty spot.
Chip and Dale topiaries on the way to World Showcase.
Floating baskets in the lagoon near Future World
A group new to me, Alberta Bound, was performing in Canada this trip. So stopped by for a set.
A couple video clips from the Alberta Bound performance.
Walking through a Flower and Garden themed garden, this one Urban Farm Eats and it is located off the walkway between Imagination and World Showcase.
Bee Hives
Chicken eggs.
An interesting bar/aquarium.
Some food offerings in this area.
Pluto topiary in the kids play area.
Conductor Mickey was nearby
Monorail gold approaching.
Not in the most interesting position for this pass.
Thought this seemed like my kind of gardening. A cage of rocks.. no assembly, digging, care needed.
Canna Lily (I believe.. I am not a flower person but there was a sign nearby).
MouseGear in the distance.
Stopped by the Butterfly House and found one out.
Come sun down they all tend to go to the corner like these or hide.
Again not in a good spot for the monorail passing by..
No wait time board on the east side of Future World right now.
A Buzz Lightyear topiary in front of Mission Space
Could not decide which I liked so here are several pictures of Buzz.
Universe of Energy
The former wonders of life is once again the Festival Center on weekends.
One more Buzz picture before moving on.
Lightning was in the Cactus Road Rally this year.
Mater nearby.
Daylight was disappearing quickly on me. It was just before 8pm.
Walking through the garden near Mexico.
A quick look at the Frozen construction in Norway as I walked by.
A bride and groom crossed my path heading to a reception along the lagoon and guessing ending with Illuminations in an hour.
Anna topiary in front of Norway
Elsa was next to her.
A dragon in China
The Lion King grouping near the Outpost

Grumpy had a red light of course.
Happy
A different angle of Doc.
There were too many guests moving in and out to get a wide picture of the set up so here is a quick video clip to show how they were positioned.
Lady and the Tramp
Spaceship Earth.. hmm 25 minutes to walk from here to the other side for my FastPass+ viewing of Illuminations I need to pick up the pace.
Woody by the American Adventure
On May 5th Japan celebrates Childrens Day. I am assuming that is why the banners and flags were up.
Passing by Morocco
Belle and the Beast in France
Cogsworth and Lumiere
Captain Hook by the United Kingdom
I made it with a few minutes to spare. Some random Illuminations pictures now.
Ranger Mickey topiary on the way out.
Chip topiary.
Back at Pop Century.. just before 10pm. They had a sign up for pike rentals as you exit the lobby today.
