Walt Disney World Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Arrived at the Studios just before 2pm.
Hollywood Blvd this warm (well hot and humid for a Southern Californian) afternoon.
Well not as obstructive as the hat or stage but when the screen is up it does look rather odd down the street.
Two projection/light towers are being built on either side of the central courtyard.
Almost a complete listing of what is left in thhe park.
Walls up around this speaker tower. Guessing it will be renovated for the new fireworks show.
Mickey is meeting in Stage 4, which was most recently the Jack Sparrow attraction.
A line of guests waiting to head in. I thought it was interesting all the shade but the line is in the sun.
A green army man watching as guests try to read their park map.
The end of the road. The back lot buildings are still up but their days are numbered.
The same for the Streets of America buildings.
I thought the demolition work would be further along. At this point it seems Anaheim is moving more quickly. but that may be due to the Rivers of America impact and the need to get that back open sooner rather than later.
No visible demo work toward the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area either.
There were several green army men out roaming around.
Nothing new on the side of the building where they painted over the Pirates mural.
One Mans Dream is still open.
Did a quick walk through to see if there have been any updates.
A quick look at the Buena Vista Street model.
Still fun to think I have been there.. this is Fortress Explorations at Tokyo DisneySea. Heading back within the year if all goes as planned.
Figment
A crowd gathering for the 2:30 Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away show (it was 2:25).
A better look at one of t he new towers.
And the other. Guessing that tree will be gone soon.
Before the show the screens played some trivia and other slides. The crowd was not huge so I opted to stay in the shade until showtime.
An example of one of the messages.
The control booth.
Just killin time waiting for the show.
Show time. The show consists of clips being played on the screens from all the Star Wars films then characters making a brief appearance.
The crowd had not really grown that large.
Noticed walls around the other set of speakers, this one on the left side.
Oops missed C3PO and R2. I was watching the clips and by the time I realized I had not grabbed their picture they were turning around and leaving.
Darth Maul
Chewbacca
Boba Fett
Stormtroopers signal only one thing..
The arrival of Darth Vader
First Order Stormtroopers

Everyone leaves but BB-8 is still on stage.
He is lowered from view.
Jedi Training going on as we walked toward the Muppet Courtyard.
Pizza Planet is closed and renovation is well underway.
Nutcracker Olaf in the Christmas store.
Stopped by the Muppet store next.
Metal signs for sale in the back corner.
Not much left of the theater. The coffee stand and other locations all still appear to be standing though.
No real visible progress on the dismantling of the Streets of America.
The other side is walled off here. Seems the wall should be pushed back to the Writers Stop.
The ABC Commissary.
A display for the Goldbergs
And Greys Anatomy
A check of the current menu.
Walking toward the Great Movie Ride to use a FastPass+
It closes early due to the fireworks. That is 90 minutes before they start.
A patrol on the move.
Had some time still so had the not so bright idea to stop by the Launch Bay. The Animation Courtyard seemed to have most of the guests in the park in it.
The waits in the Launch Bay were not bad.
Everything looked the same as it did back in December.
Plenty of opportunities for pictures inside.
An interesting balloon.
The patrol stopped to check the trash can.
Time to use our FastPass+
Nothing new to report from onboard.
Walked through the stores on the way out.
Current rental rates if you are interested.
The boat waited for us which was nice.. but no seating so I had to stand. At least that put me closer to the minimal A/C.
Passing the Boardwalk on the way to Epcot.
Barriers up on the driveway at the International Gateway.
Buses were shuttle guests for an event. I think it was part of the cheer leading competitions.
Some current prices.

It was not crowded inside the stores of Japan today, unlike the last few times I visited.

Moving on after a couple of songs... I miss the old acts.

The park was not too crowded today. Was able to get a picture like this with little effort.

Passing through the Electric Umbrella
Paid a visit to Spaceship Earth
Donald and his nephews on the back side of the entrance display.
We decided to head back to Pop Century to grab something to eat and call it an early night. It was around 7:30pm.
New emergency staircases are still under construction at the monorail stations.
Since the last time I stayed at Pop Century the bus stop changed. It is now straight back vs off to the right at the end.
No wait right now for Pop Century.
Back at Pop Century at 7:55pm. These will house the bus arrival schedules eventually.
A walk through Everything Pop! to take a look at the current menus.
No more individual pizzas. Instead you get a large slice. Adult portion is 1/4 of a pizza. Childrens is 1/8 (half the adult). Here you can see two adult and one child slice. It was not bad. I ended up having a piece.
A movie screen set up near the pool
Not very busy, plenty of open chairs.
The pool hours.
It was around 8:30. Time to call it quits for the day and work on some writing and pictures. Have an early wake up call tomorrow for golf.
