Walt Disney World Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
On our way from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom via monorail. A fair number of cars entering the parking lot considering it was 3:30pm.
The stairs emergency stairs at the TTC monorail platform are still under construction.
For the second leg of the trip opted for the Ferry Boat.
I always enjoy arriving via boat. Watching the park come into view as your cross the Seven Seas Lagoon is a unique arrival for Disney Parks.
A hidden Mickey created by the transportation cast members.
Work going on near the security checkpoint. They had a section of concrete dug up.
Main Street USA at 4:04pm
A random picture of the iron work on the walkway up to Cinderella Castle. We were moving rather quickly as a FastPass+ window was closing.
The castle stage is being renovated for a new show premiering in June.
Looking toward the hub and Main Street beyond.
Toward Tomorrowland
The FastPass+ return line for the Dwarfs Mine Train was backed up to the left (for some reason I did not take a picture of the line).
The standby wait was 150 minutes.
Made my way to Tomorrowland next with the objective of the Peoplemover in mind. That mass of guests was the queue.
Found the end of the line. Turned out to be just under 10 minutes.
The carousel theater was under wraps for some work, it was open and spinning as usual though.
The Incredibles Dance party is still around.
Cinderella Castle
Some renovation work at the Liberty Tree Tavern
Ready to board the Walt Disney World Railroad... since Disneyland is down for the next year figured I need to get a couple steam train rides in this trip.
Passing by Big Thunder
The cabin smoking as normal.
The Fire Truck was out on Main Street. Not running due to the Street Party going on in the hub but it will resume after it finishes.
The Omnibus was out too.
Time to move on to the next park after a brief visit to the room to make sure my suitcases showed up.
All is quiet at the Magic Kingdom bus stop at 6:00pm
A large bus pulled up and only a handful of guests boarded with me this trip.
After a quick trip to the room I was waiting at the Studios bus stop at 7:44pm
Only 15 minutes from the last picture to this one, which is already through security.
Hollywood Blvd at 8:04pm Great to see the Chinese Theater again.
Think these may be the most interesting FastPass+ kiosks I have noticed. These are where the old line board used to be at the intersection of Hollywood & Sunset.
Interesting TIE Fighter popcorn buckets are cheaper here than Disneyland. It cost $25 on 4/21 in Anaheim.
Great to have a mostly unobstructed view again.
To the left of the last shot is a blocked off area for the dessert party each night.
This is a buffet with tables to stand at.
Walls around the speakers on Mickey Ave (think it is still called Mickey Ave..)
Some signs up to try and help guests navigate the park. The back area is walled off.
An hour wait for Toy Story. It closes at 8:45 for fireworks.
More signs to help.
A wall is at the end of Pixar Place, right before the Backlot buildings. The guests down there are either lost, looking at the wall, or smoking.
Appears to be overflow queue for Toy Story.
The wall features some concept art for Toy Story Land.
Looking to the left. No visible signs of work yet.
Looking back up the street.
I walked around to the Muppet Courtyard which features more walls. These have Star Wars art on them.
Walls around Pizza Planet.
Inside looks like they have taken it down to the studs.
Passing back through Echo Lake trying to figure out what I wanted to do. It was about 8:50pm and I had nearly an hour until the fireworks.
So I wandered down Sunset Blvd.
Found myself at the entrance to Fantasmic about 2 minutes before show time so decided to go see it. Not sure why since it just frustrates me but I did.
So here are some random pictures from the show.
Maleficent
The giant spotlight behind her was odd from this angle.
Heading back to Hollywood Blvd after the show. Still had 15 minutes.
Thought about squeezing in up closed.
But then opted to head toward Crossroads since I heard it was a big show and I was getting tired after the red eye and did not want to have to wait a long time for a bus to leave.
Found a spot with 5 minutes to spare.
Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular is the show tonight, the new one does not start until June.
A clip from Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular
One more picture to end the day. After this joined the mass exiting the now closed park and headed back to Pop Century to call it a night after a very long day.
