Walt Disney World Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
There was some sort of after hours party going on at the Studios and the park closed early.
Here is the stage
A billboard for the Osborne lights
Cars banners up for the DVD release in the Animation Courtyard
Voyage of the Little Mermaid holiday decoration
A random shot on Mickey Ave.
No line for Playhouse Disney this morning
Walls up on the former Millionaire building and future Pixar attraction (at DCA its going to be called Midway Mania for the studios I saw one site refer to it as Pixar Mania, I believe the announcement is set for the end of January so we will find out for sure then)
There was no wait so we stopped by the Backlot tour
Due to the cold weather they were not taking volunters. They spent a couple minutes running through some of the effects and that was it
Wonder what happened to the giant Santa Hat for the earful tower.
Found it interesting that the practice are for Lights, Motors, Action had U.S. sportscars on display while the show uses a European car
Spotted an Imagineering sign, did not get a good picture though.
A better shot of the practice area
We had to hold for a couple minutes while these guys went into the Catastrophe Canyon set and then came out.
A couple shots from inside the canyon
A driver ready to pull the sets into place for LMA (notice how cold he looks, it was in the 50s and quite breezy)
The show was just about to start and the cars were set to go
And off they go
Not a big crowd this morning
Goofy and Minnie signing autographs
I was suprised to see Goofy in his Year of a Million Dreams outfit and not Minnie, too
I have not seen this Chipmunk in years..
The Tower of Terror
A couple Beauty and the Beast shots
It still amazes me how parents do not keep an eye on their kids and in some cases, like this one, actually incourage behavior that makes no sense at all
There were quite a few streetmosphere people out
Noticed this Year of a Million Dreams sign near the exit
Next stop Disneys Magnolia golf course for our afternoon tee time (it was still in the mid 50s and really breezy)
All the Disney courses now have GPS carts.. here is the famous 6th hole.
The golf bag on my rented clubs
Now some random shots of the course and the wild life we saw along the way (no alligators this trip though)
Turkeys on the Oak Trail course
One of the comfort stations (rest rooms, water fountain, and an ice machine)
We managed to finish almost an hour ahead of pace and half an hour or so before sunset which was our main objective, to get all 18 holes in before dark
After washing up and warming up we headed for EPCOT for dinner
Noticed this sign was still up in Innoventions, I thought the picture promotion had ended already, or is it still going on, I forgot to check back.
Some shots from the America Adventure
A couple Candlelight pictures
A monorail speeding by EPCOTs entrance
To close today two of the windows at Everything Pop back at Pop Century
