The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
A sunny morning at Tokyo Disney Resort today. A look outside just before 6am.
The first/test train of the morning at Bayside Station. The Resort Line opens at 6:30am.
What the do not disturb message looks like outside our door.
8:30am - Walking to Bayside Station
The driveway/street entrance to the Fantasy Springs Hotel
All clear to cross the street
Heading up the escalator
As we departed the station there were a large number of school kids arriving.
The painting on the wall, really looks like three tests.. but in an awkward spot for a test next to a high traffic guest area.
A check of Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs from the Resort line.
It was fairly clear this morning and you could make out Mt. Fuji in the distance
Mt. Prometheus
8:39am - The queue to enter DisneySea was not horrible.
Resort Line station advertisement
Mickey between the parking structure and park entrance.
8:43am - In line for Tokyo DisneySea
Loaded up my ticket for the day. The design is the same as Disneyland except for the logo in the bottom right.
8:55am - Through security and park entry. A look at the Resort Line station from inside the park.
The Aquasphere
40th Anniversary banners at the park entrance
Hard to see but lining the walkway were cart selling some dream garland and other 40th items
Fortress Explorations is being renovated so there is scaffolding up. Also note some guests claiming spots for the Let's Celebrate Colors characters that is at noon, 3 hours from now.
A majority of guests entering the park this morning are going to the right and Soaring.
Here you can see them making their way up to the queue that already extends out to the left.
A Transit Steamer moving through the harbor
Time to try for an entry request for Big Band Beat. You use the official app and there is a series of screens to try for it. Step 1 select the show you want to try for, you can try for each once a day.
Select the show.
Select the time.
Indicate if you have any kids.
Confirm details, cross fingers, and click request.
What you see if you do not get a seat.
We decided to visit the Venetian Gondolas since it was peaceful there.
Great to walk over the bridge and see an empty queue.
9:03am
Think this was the first boat of the morning setting off.
The cast members all have Dream Garland added to their name tags.
Video: The view of Mediterranean Harbor from the Venetian Gondolas
The Soaring queue just kept growing.
Transit steamers were very active this morning.
The ship at Fortress Explorations
The cast members talked throughout (no idea what they were saying) but no singing this trip. Was that cut from all or just bad luck on our part?
Did not hear any singing coming from the one behind us either.
9:18am 0 onto our next adventure.
40th Anniversary photo op.
Passing through the American Waterfront
Next up the Electric Railway
Some views from my transit to Port Discovery
Aquatopia had not opened yet.
The haze was returning and you could not see as far as when we arrived at the park.
Heading toward Mysterious Island
The app had a 15 minute wait for Journey to the Center of the Earth. The sign at the attraction said 50. I believed the sign based on the number of guests we saw in the area.
20,000 Leagues on the Sea on the other hand was a walkon
Someday I am going to take a decent picture on this attraction. Most come out like this.
Mysterious Island
Dream Garland is up throughout the park.
Passing back by the Electric Railway as I made my way to the Lost River Delta
9:53am - Indiana Jones on the app said 15 minutes..
The attraction says 25.
We decided to wait vs go single rider or keep walking.
10:11 - About to board. So it was about 20 minutes when we actually boarded a jeep.
10:17am - Exiting.
Crossing the river
Renovation work underway.
10:20am - Time for the Transit Steamer

The wait time board has not reopened since COVID I believe. Its been on the closed list every time I have looked.
Back to the American Waterfront
10:59am - Decided to get in line for the 11:30am Big Band Beat. The first show is stand by only.
Premier Access is their paid FastPass option. Here is a look at the waits and prices this morning.
You can also pay for a spot for Believe! Sea of Dreams. My plan is to see how stand by spots look this evening.
Walked over from Big Band Beat to the harbor arriving 3 minutes before the event was to start.
Showtime - Let's Celebrate with Colors. This is a character opportunity that takes to the lagoon twice a day.
