The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
2:41pm - After the parade took a look around Toontown
City Hall has a string of 40th anniversary Dream Garland
Goofy's House
Cinderella Castle
Looking toward World Bazaar from Cinderella Castle
Cinderella Castle has some 40th anniversary decorations on the front side.
Plants in the central planter
Passed the Tokyo Disneyland Band again
Perla and Suzy were out in World Bazaar (Here is Suzy)
Dream garland strung across World Bazaar
The piano player was wrapping up a performance when I walked by.
Peter Pan led a group of kids around while he played
Prince Charming was roaming around too, seems he lost Cinderella
40th Anniversary balloons
An interesting sight line, this was taken from Tomorrowland
Stopped by the Tomorrowland Terrace for a bite to eat. Mickey Nuggets (5 for 400 yen) and Fries (280 yen) plus a Coke from the vending machine (200 yen) which converted to $6.64.
The rain had returned and it was going between a light drizzle and light rain.
The rain did not shorten the wait for Beauty and the Beast, it was still triple digits.
You could purchase your own Dream Garland at locations throughout the resort.
Decided I was done in the rain so walked around World Bazaar
4:45pm - Then over to Pirates since it had a minimal wait.
4:49pm - Onboard, so 4 minute wait.
The original auction scene is still in Tokyo.
Video: A quick clip of Captain Jack Sparrow.
The rain let up so took a walk through New Orleans Square
Passing through Adventureland
The backside of the entrance to Adventureland
The Swiss Family Treehouse is closed for renovation
Moving around to the Plaza facing side of the entrance.
5:08pm - This walkway was peaceful at the moment
No shows take place on this stage right now. The kid focused dance one that in the past was a staple here moved to the Adventureland theater.
The selection of drinks in this vending machine. I learned that not all machines have the same location and not all machines take IC/Suica cards.
Passing through the Country Bear Playhouse. I just missed a show.
Walking through Westernland
5:14pm - Only a 5 min wait posted so decided to pay a visit to the Haunted Mansion
The extended queue was not in use so you could get a good view of the umbrellas.
5:15pm - In the foyer and waiting to board the elevator.. so a 1 minute walk, no wait.
5:30pm - A cast member drying some of the walkway.. being optimistic that the rain had stopped.
Pirates on my right, Dumbo on the left and beyond that on the left is Peter Pan. Straight ahead is Westernland.
Alice's Tea Party
Making my way toward Toontown. You could see some of the Fantasy Springs Hotel construction in the background.
Looking toward Tomorrowland
I decided to walk toward Belle's Village and check the queue.
The queue was still wrapping in the extended area so I kept walking
Cinderella Castle as the skies started to brighten a bit.
Minnie's Style Studio opened since my last visit. You can wait in line to visit Minnie Mouse. It was 35 minutes when I walked by, which was really short but still longer than I wanted to wait.
A look around Toontown
The North Mountain from the Frozen area of Fantasy Springs expansion to Tokyo DisneySea is visible over the Toontown Hills.
I think that is the show building for the Frozen attraction on the right over Mickey's garage.
Goofy's
Donald has this interesting tree out front
Goofy's front yard
Thought this was interesting.. in the background is the North Mountain and the large building in front of it is Beauty and the Beast.
Notice how the Toontown facing side is green and the side facing the Beast Castle is a different color
From Donald's Boat, the Beast's Castle and beyond it the Theatre
A little wider view includes Space Mountain
The Design Studio building (which is the same building as Gaston's)
The residential area of Toontown
Looking toward Downtown Toontown
A couple interesting sights on the horizon.
First up a glimpse of Tower of Terror at Tokyo DisneySea
And Mt. Prometheus rising above the facade
More Dream Garland
Toontown vending machines
Toontown Restroom signs
Car Toon Spin
The walkways are slowly drying out
Another cast member working on the parade route. This was about 6:00pm, 90 minutes before Dreamlights was scheduled to start.
6:12pm - Decided to visit it's a small world
6:21pm - Onboard and ready to set sail, so just under the 10 min posted time.
The Tokyo version has featured characters since 2018 so this was my second visit with them in place.
The rain returned.. not looking good for the parade.
6:48pm - A check of the wait times shows Beauty and the Beast dropping. Also worth pointing out the Tokyo App changes between day and night depending on the time of day.
We returned to see the Country Bears
Another Big Al picture to close out this section.
