The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
9:00am - Onboard the resort line and passing over the Tokyo DisneySea bus parking lot. Cones celebrating the 40th anniversary of the resort.
Only a few buses in the lot at the moment. We noticed they would drop people off then leave.
The park was just opening for the day. Lines filled about half the plaza.
No lines after security to enter the park.
We walked out to the overlook at the Resort Line station of the park entrance. Below park guests were moving quickly toward Mediterranean Harbor.
The Hotel Mira Costa
40th Anniversary decorations over the entrance.
The Aquasphere
The 40th Anniversary Resort Liner approaching
The line on the other side matched what we saw from the Monorail.
A closer look at the 40th Anniversary Dream-Go-Round wrapped Resort Liner.
The layering of detail at the park entrance and Hotel Mira Costa is incredible.
The Tokyo DisneySea picnic area below.
The front of the Hotel Mira Costa is being renovated.
It was raining so a look at the back side of the fountain.
A quick look around the lobby this morning.
Some 40th anniversary decorations hung around the lobby

The park entry lines were too now.

We stayed on board to the Disneyland Station.
Looking across Disneyland toward the hotels and Fantasy Springs Construction.
Cinderella Castle
9:40am - The security line at Disneyland was not as spread out as DisneySea. It is in a large corral on this side. This was 40 minutes after park opening.
The Tokyo Disneyland entrance. This has been redone since my last visit in 2018.
The security line on the other side stretched back toward the parking structure.
The Resort Line station was quiet.

An Outback and Red Lobster opened by the Disney Store
The Disney Store is celebrating its 30th Anniversary.
Found this interesting. A display with Walt Disney World merchandise. The Disney Store is owned by Disney so you will not find Tokyo Disney park items, but you will find some random domestic items.

It was coming down pretty hard by this point and we were happy with our decision not to go sightseeing or to the park today.
Our Monorail arriving at the Resort Gateway Station
The rain was really coming down so no good pictures on the way back to Bayside Station.
This was interesting to me. The Toy Story Hotel does not have a shuttle bus. It does have the shortest walk since it is directly across the street.
The current Resort Cruiser buses are more bus like and less interesting than the fleet they replaced.
Stopped by the lounge to see what their snack offerings are.
The drink area included a selection of Coke products, coffee, and juices.
The snack selection
In addition to the jars were these offerings.
2:15pm - After hanging out in the lounge then room time to venture back out to find some food.
The photo still uses the previous shuttle on the picture.

Inside it was crowded, being mid afternoon on a Saturday so I did not take many pictures.
The rain let up slightly so we decided to walk to the Disneyland Station to catch the Monorail. A 40th Anniversary banner.
Back at the Hilton. There are two glass elevators looking at the atrium. Here is the view as we headed back up to our room to call it a night.
A map of my travels. You an see where the GPS lost track of me and jumped across the parks vs going around them.
