Tokyo Disneyland Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Looking toward Cinderella Castle at 6am.. it was just starting to get light outside.
Tokyo Disneyland Hotel in the distance.
Come 7am it was still overcast and cold looking but brighter.
A traffic jam of resort cruisers leaving the Bayside Station
Tokyo DisneySea this morning.
The upper level driveway at the Sheraton was blocked off for the rest of our trip as they did some road work.
This morning there were a lot of buses lined up out front of the hotel waiting to pick people up.
A monorail passing overhead as we crossed the street.
Looking back at the hotel. Notice the people with suits. They worked for the hotel and bus line and were there to help cross the street.
Approaching Bayside Station. All is quiet this morning, it was just past 8am.
Some guests waiting upstairs but not a big crowd. DisneySea opened at 8 and Disneyland not till 9.
Some plants and trees in the tree farm along the way. The one in the middle was interesting.. just laying there with no box.
Onboard the monorail. We had a 15th anniversary one this morning.
Since it was not even 8:30 yet and the thought of standing in line a half hour did not sound fun we went and grabbed breakfast at Beckers.
The view from my table for breakfast.
Guests arriving via train this morning.
We decided to walk to the park vs going back to catch the monorail.
There were thousands of birds flying around this morning in formations like this.
A backup at security.. felt like I was at Disneyland.
We opted to keep walking and look for a shorter wait. Which we succeeded. Found only 2-3 people per line further on.
10 Minutes until opening. The lines were not that long this morning.
The backup at security continued to grow.
A quick look at ticket prices if you were curious.
Funny instead of saying no FastPass they just say it has ended for the day.. at the day has not even begun yet.
Almost there.. it was 10 after now.
Yeah inside Tokyo Disneyland, about 9:14am.
We will double back to this. There were a lot of guests wanting their picture taken this morning.
Stopped by guest relations to get English time schedules. Here is their Christmas tree.
Stepping into World Bazaar.
Looking toward Adventureland down Center street
The Disney Gallery is closed to make way for a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
Entering the central plaza
Banners in the area.
The StarJets days are numbered. They will be removed as part of the Fantasyland expansion project.
Quiet morning in Tomorrowland.
Guests already had their spaces staked out for Disney Christmas Stories parade. The first one is at 10:40am. It is 9:20am.
The line for FastPasses for Poohs Hunny Hunt
The attraction was across the walkway and already had a standby wait well over an hour and growing.
Almost there.
Picked up my FastPass at 9:30am for early afternoon, not bad.
Passed by Small World
Some restrooms had these Mickey soap dispensers.
We tried the simple instructions and failed.
En route to our first attraction of the day, Haunted Mansion Holiday.
A posted 15 minute wait. Turned out to be only 10.
The Mansion here is modeled after the Florida version. Fun to see it decorated.
The queue had a lot of quests in it, but no FastPass return yet so it moved quickly.
Pumpkins overlooking the queue.
If you were curious the tombstones are in English here.
It feels odd to be in line for the Mansion and look out and see Dumbo and Cinderella Castle.
Noticed these signs all around.. they did not jump out at me last year.
Time to enter the mansion.
The foyer decorations.
The loading area.. had to shoot while walking in the dark.. so this is the best I got this trip through.
Time to board.
Zero decorating the library
Sally listing to some music. (There were a set of figures above as you start but it was too dark and I missed the picture).
The endless hallway.
Madam Leota does not float around.
The gingerbread house in the dining room.
Going through the attic.
Down into the graveyard.
No Oogie and spinning wheel, instead these three where the hitchhiking ghosts usually are.
Exiting.
Stroller parking is much more organized here.
Passing by Critter Country.
The crowds were growing for the parade. It was now 10:05 so 35 minutes to go.
Not enough time to squeeze in a visit to the Country Bears though.
A look at Westernland decorations.
Super-Duper Jimpin Time was wrapping up as I walked by.
The Omnibus was heading backstage.
