  • Woke up to an overcast/cloudy/drizzly morning. Here is monorail heading for Bayside station.
  • Cinderella Castle this morning.. will be there in a couple hours. Today is our Disneyland Day.

  • Construction equipment on the move this morning.

  • At the Disneyland station and taking the escalator down.
  • We had a few minutes until the park opened.
  • We lucked out and got under cover for the 10 minute wait or so.
  • The center area was reserved for resort guests and their 15 minute head start.

  • The rain really started to come down as opening approached.
  • Inside.. time to start exploring my 9th Disney park.
  • Because of the rain I kept moving and did not stop for pictures on the way in.
  • There was an Easter display at the entrance.
  • In World Bazaar. It was nice to have a cover with the rain.

  • Grabbed a FastPass for Monsters Inc
  • The FastPass machines
  • Monsters Inc Trashcans in Tomorrowland
  • Decided to do the Standby Line since it was short.

  • A young Donald Duck fan.
  • Stroller parking
  • Almost inside.. its only been a couple minutes.

  • Plenty of queue.. not that much in use this morning.

  • Overhead screens with final instructions and safety warnings.
  • Almost ready to board.
  • The trams you ride in are very small.
  • Onboard and ready to go.
  • Mike is ready to turn the lights out.
  • Now your flashlight is active and if you shine it on a Monsters Inc logo something happens.
  • The trams travel in groups of three through the attractions.
  • You exit into the Monsters, Inc. Company Store
  • Time to head out into the rain.
  • There is an Easter Egg hunt at Tokyo Disneyland. Here are the two Monsters Inc ones.
  • Next up Star Tours.
  • Looking into Tomorrowland
  • A very large queue space. Not needed today.
  • Picking up my glasses
  • Waiting to board.
  • I was in the far seat of the first row. Kind of an awkward view.
  • Exiting after the ride.
  • You head upstairs to exit.
  • Crossing over an enclosed bridge you get a good view of Tomorrowland.
  • Looking back at the walkway I just used.
  • From up here a good view of Monsters Inc and beyond it the Disneyland Hotel.
  • World Bazaar
  • The exit corridor
  • An ice cream stand
  • Pan Galactic Pizza Port
  • Indoor seating is upstairs
  • Food is downstairs.

  • An R2D2 Egg near Star Tours
  • Showbase is next door and it hosts One Mans Dream II
  • Space Mountain
  • The rain was really coming down again.
  • Over sized vending machines

  • Buzz Lightyear
  • Intersesting.. these FastPasses were for Star Tours but out near Space Mountain.

  • Looking back you can see DisneySea in the distance
  • Tomorrowland Hall is where you can get FastPass tickets for various shows.
  • Today only Once Upon a Time. They were not doing tickets for One Mans Dream
  • I won.. 2 for 2 now.

  • Back out in the rain and on the move... next stop Fantasyland.
