• Bayside Station this morning. It was overcast and cool with a hint of what was to come. The weather.com forecast said 100% chance of rain today.
• Cinderella Castle in the distance
• Resort Cruisers heading into Bayside station
• Our Resort Cruiser pulling into the Hilton
• On the way to the station you can look down the road and see Mount Prometheus
• A tree farm on the edge of the property. This is part the expansion area where the Frozen port will be built.
• Passing by the SS Columbia
• The lines to get in have not passed the ticket booth and this was only about 15 minutes until open.
• Speaking of 15 minutes.. a sign for the Disney Resort guests who get a 15 minute head start to enter the park.
• The line from ground level. Not that bad.
• In the park only a few minutes after opening.
• Mickey, Minnie and a band greeting guests
• A closer look at one of the insets in the ground.
• Cast Members trying to keep guests moving slowly.. no running.
• There seemed to be a cast member every 20-30 feet with a sign. Most were listening.. a couple were not.
• Wait ties this morning.
• Guests heading into the park. Most were going toward Toy Story, some Tower of Terror.
• The crowd moving into the American Waterfront
• Plenty of cast members, signs, and ropes to herd the crowd.
• Random picture of the Tower of Terror while I moved along.
• An extended queue ready to be put to use (this was the FastPass queue not attraction queue).
• To the left the FastPass line I was in. To the right the attraction queue.
• The park had been open only 15 min by this point.
• We kept shuffling along.
• A 50 min stand by wait already.
• The FastPass queue continues..
• Looking back it was growing behind me.
• Almost to the machines..
• A cast member feeding my tickets to the FastPass machine.
• Time to head out into the park. It was 8:50 at this point.. so about 20 minutes to walk and get the FastPass.

• Looking back at the mass of guests still waiting to get into Trolley Park.
• Mount Prometheus erupting as I made my way toward it.

• A DisneySea Transit Steamer cruising by.
• Fortress Explorations
• Looking back at the Hotel MiraCosta
• Walking through the Fortress
• Magellans Restaurant.
• Mediterranean Harbor
• A Steamer racing a Gondola?
• Arrived at Mysterious Island and heading for Journey to the Center of the Earth
• Exploring the queue. I was trying to go slow and take some pictures but was being pushed/pulled to move faster.
• Elevators to descend further.
• Oops a little too dark.
• A first glimpse at a ride vehicle.
• Guests in front of us setting off on their trip.
• Next a couple pages of pics from onboard. I was enjoying the ride but snapped some random pics along the way.
• We survived.
• It had started to rain outside, noticed this when we shot out of the volcano.
• The Nautilus in port at Mysterious Island.
• FastPass Machines.. not really needed right now. It is only a 5 min wait. And I am way ahead of schedule already with it only being 10 after 9.
• The rain was starting to come down as we made our way around to 20,000 Leagues under the Sea
• I tried to take a lot of Steamer pictures today because it closes for renovation after today.
• Plenty of queue space. Not needed this morning as it was a walk on. They did not even open the FastPass machines.
• Onboard.. most of my pictures looked really really bad.. so here are a few that are just bad...
• An attempt to show you ave a spotlight you can control what you look at as your sub moves through the attraction.
• More empty queue on the way out.
• Yep still raining out.
• The pictures really do not convey the misery of the cold rain.. it just looks overcast in these.
• A quick look at the Vulcania Restaurant food..
• Making our way toward the back of the park and the Lost River Delta.
• A look across to the Arabian Coast
• The popcorn cart at the Mermaid Lagoon
• Passing through the Mermaid Lagoon as the rain really started to come down.
• Another popcorn stand.
• No wait for the outdoor attractions.

• A snack location.. the Cookhouse
• Passing by Raging Spirits
• Walking toward Indiana Jones in the pouring rain.
• Looking back this poor cast member.. we saw several like her throughout the day standing out with no cover in the pouring rain.
• Been in the park an hour and onto attraction number 3.
• Guests and cast members were using the FastPass distribution area as cover.
• There was no wait.
• The extended queue was set up which seemed odd given the weather.
• Some pictures from the queue.
• Instead of a series of corridors the main portion goes through/around this large room.
• Safety video time.
• Also they pass out a safety card to read.. to ensure you understand.
• There is an onride photo
• Time to board almost.. looks very familiar
• A couple of random on ride photos now.

• Since there was no line I decided to go a second time and try to get some video.
• This time there were even less people. At one point had the main queue room to myself.

• Thought this was interesting. The light reflects of this plate.
• And onto this wall.

• Here is my video of the ride. As expected not very good.. most is dark or out of focus.. but it gives you a flavor potentially. The fireball effect was sort of captured.
• Took a look around the Yucatan Base Camp Grill
• A water cup station
• Alcohol sales had their own counter.
• Outside the area is a dig site.
• Looking up the river
• The plan was to take the steamer... but it was closed.
• So took a look in the Lost River Outfitter to dry off.
• Time to venture back out into the rain.
• The Steamer was still closed so we set off on foot..
• Passing by Raging Spirits on our way to the Arabian Coast.
