Tokyo Disneyland Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
After lunch we boarded the Resort Line and headed for our first park in Tokyo.
Passing by Tokyo Disneyland on the monorail.
The flowers in front of the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.
Notice the railings..
The close parking lot was fairly full. No cars in the far one (only the last few days did we see cars out there).
Mount Prometheus in Tokyo DisneySea from the Monorail.
The SS Columbia from the Monorail.
Our destination.. the Tokyo DisneySea station is ahead.
Hard to believe that is a hotel.. the Hotel MiraCosta.
No lines to get in this afternoon.
The Aquasphere
Heading down the escalator at the Tokyo DisneySea station.
A statue of Mickey near the parking structure (Donald is on the other side, I have a picture on a later day)
An information board with a map, operating times, etc..
The sign above the ticket booth letting you know what is available as far as tickets, attractions, and even FastPasses.
Time to head for the park.
Inside Tokyo DisneySea.. my 8th Disney park.
Characters were out in the entrance plaza. Here is Donald.
Goofy turned away.
Goofy.
Daisy
The Aquasphere
Dale
Chip
Pluto
Minnie Mouse
Time to head for the Mediterranean Harbor.
The 2015 Disney Easter Celebration is going on.
The level of detail is hard to capture, I saw a lot of pictures/video before visiting but until you are standing there looking at it, it is hard to really share.
Mickey and Minnie Easter Eggs flank the entrance walkway.
A closer look at Mickey
A closer look at Minnie
The lighting was not great.. but the view was impressive.
Easter banners line the walkway.
It was about 3:15 and these guests are all in place for the 4:30 Fashionable Easter show. I wanted to see that but I really wanted to walk the park a bit first..
Looking back at the Hotel MiraCosta
The wait times at Tokyo DisneySea at 3:17pm
A look at the assembled crowd.
The crowd control cast members.
Guests were waiting around the entire Mediterranean Harbor area.
We strolled into the American Waterfront area. This is McDucks Department Store
Turning left you look into Venice. No gondolas right now. I think they were closed because of the shows (they opened later this afternoon).
A Big City Vehicle driving through the American Waterfront.
A look around.
New York was celebrating Easter too.
My first glimpse at a DisneySea Electric Railway train overhead.
Took a look in McDucks
It is Duffy central...
Scrooge McDuck
Gelatoni is popular here.
3900 yen for a plush
A quick look around the store
A better picture of the railway overhead.
Another Big City Vehicle
The Tower of Terror is in the American Waterfront. A little more detail than the ones here in the states.
Here is where you can board a Big City Vehicle. They do a loop of the New York area. It is round trip, no stops.
The SS Columbia (it contains a restaurant, lounge, and Turtle Talk).
An outdoor vending stand. No line for Ice Cream today.
On the Dockside Stage a show called A Table is Waiting is performed a half dozen times a day. We happened upon an in progress show so here are a couple pictures.
A video clip from the show. On a later day I have many more pictures and a lot more video of the show.
A wider view of the area.
The show played to large crowds every time we walked by. I am very far back...
From the Finale
Ships in port on the waterfront. Great props!
A shoeshine stand

The exit steps for the Electric Railway station in the American Waterfront area.
Restaurant Sakura
A hot dog cart.. never did try one.
The entrance for the railway.. will visit that later.
Only a 15 minute wait
A quick look at the menu for the New York Deli (I go inside later)
A performer entertaining guests. I caught the last 30 seconds of his performance only.
A good size crowd gathered.
I was not planning to see the Big Band Beat show today, wanted to save it for a bad weather day but thought I would try the lottery for the fun of it.
For a couple of the shows because of their popularity Tokyo Disney does a lottery. You scan your tickets. And cross your fingers..
I managed to win.. first try..
The seats are assigned and ours were not bad.. center section about the middle..
Banners inside Biglietteria, which is where the lottery was. I was planning to take pictures on a later day but due to weather they did not run lotteries any of the other days!
Back to the harbor. I decided to find a spot near the center but back. The front sections all sit then people stand but no kids or cameras above your head so I figured I could see over most people (I am 6 feet tall).
The stage was being raised into position for the show.
Had a few minutes so took a picture of the ticket I bought for today.
The ticket was good from 3pm to park closing for 5,400 yen, about $45.
Almost showtime. Guests around the Fortress Explorations
And the walkways by Mysterious Island. That wraps up this part. The next one will feature the Fashionable Easter Show.
