I was up at 5:30am again.. so here is a look at the lights in the headboard of the beds at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel.
Shanghai Disneyland Hotel headboard lights in motion.
If you were curious is is getting light outside at 5:30am, I opened the curtains to take a look around. Hazy this morning.
They were rehearsing for spring festival this weekend. You could hear the sound check.
Slightly later, around 6am.
Shanghai Disneyland Hotel post card that was in the room for us.
6:30am and I still had 30 minutes to kill so decided to go walk around the hotel grounds. Heading down.
Started off in the garden behind the Ballroom next to the Rose Garden.
That is the ballroom atop the steps.
Further along the path is the Rose Garden.
The trail continues around the side of the hotel.. will travel there in a few minutes.
A map of the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel Grounds.
A closer look at the legend.
The pool looks out to this area, a quick look through the door. It was not open yet.
The pool is behind the glass on the left.
Looking toward the Rose Garden
A glass slipper inlaid in the steps.
Cinderella statue as you go up the steps to the ballroom.
Looking back.
Looking to the left.
Straight down the steps.
Here you can sort of see where the slipper is.. just left of center of my shot.

Walked over to the Rose Garden Gazebo
And Cinerella's Coach
Shanghai Disneyland Hotel trash cans.
I walked around to the back side of the hotel toward the Great Lawn.
The Hakuna Matata Oasis is on this side of the hotel. This is a water play area. The water was not on this morning so I walked around.
Timon and Pumbaa in the fountain area.
Zazu nearby.
Some nice views of the hotel from this area.

The pool was just opening so I took a quick look inside before heading up to breakfast.
Breakfast was at the Magic Kingdom Club.
They have fresh squeezed orange juice, made by a juicer onsite.
I do not think I took a picture of this area yesterday.
Stopped back by the room. While waiting for others a look at the shower curtain.
A closer look.
Walked out front to catch the shuttle bus to the metro station. It was 8:05am.
On an empty bus at 8:15am
The bus stop at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel.
I thought this was interesting. The traffic signals told you how long until a green light.
The bus stopped at the Toy Story Hotel on the way.
I plan to visit the hotel later in the week to take a look around.
The grounds here at the bus stop were much heavier than the Disneyland Hotel. The hotel is roughly double the size at approx 800 rooms.
Back on the road.
They have a lot of traffic cameras and signs along the roads.
We took the road around the back side of the park.
There were several administrative buildings along the road.
As well as the fire station.
Bike parking for cast members.
Rest rooms and information at the bus terminal near the Metro station.
We arrived at 8:30am so it was a 15 minute trip including the stop.
Time to go buy our tickets. We learned only automated machines on the bus side..
So we had to walk around the station to the Disneyland side to find a person to buy the pass from.
8:45am waiting for our train to arrive.
8:46am on board and ready to travel to Downtown Shanghai.
