- Today I head home. A quick look at my Disneyland Annual Pass and room key before I pack them away.
- Had some time until breakfast so a look around the room. The desk I called my office for the visit.
- The power outlets. It would have been nice to have USB ports.
- Under the bathroom sink is where the fridge is. I had meant to take a picture and did not think I did.
- A look inside.
- Heading to a final breakfast in the Compass Club. Fairly quiet at 7:15am.
- The Castmembers thought we needed another guest at our table so Olaf joined us for our final meal.
- Back to our room to finish packing. The sun was coming up so a look at the frost outside. It was around 30 degrees this morning.
- Sun is up and its about time to leave.
- A final look at the room before beginning my long travel day home.
- The view from the Newport Bay Club lobby while we waited to be picked up.
- Our van arrived and we were loading the van a few minutes before 9am.
- On our way at 8:57am.
- A final glimpse of Space Mountain as we drove by the backside of the park.
- We took the back way to the airport to avoid traffic on the highway. That meant a lot of two lane roads and still some traffic.
- Passing a shopping center.
- Arriving at CDG.. spotted another Disney bus.
- Arrived at CDG at 9:40am
- Our van this morning.
- Checked in, bags dropped and on the train to the gate at 10:09am
- Through security and resting in the Air France lounge at 10:26am.
- A look around the Air France Lounge.
- A look at the food selection this morning in the lounge.
- Beverage choices
- My plate.
- An information board with the flights and gate information. Ours is still on time.
- Made a second pass through the food areas. They had started to put out lunch around 11:30am.
- In addition to the main buffet there were a couple of smaller areas with drinks and snacks.
- A lunch plate someone else in our group put together.
- There was a kids area in the far corner of the lounge.
- No kids took advantage of it during our visit.
- Another beverage station nearby.
- The view from the seat I choose.
- My seat as it was time to head down to the plane.
- Our plane was at the gate and looked read to go.
- Plenty of seating at the gate.
- Onboard and seated by 12:45pm
- A peak at the first class cabin. There are only 4 seats up there.
- Flight information for today. Due to an estimated 10:45 flight time vs nearly 12 as planned we sat on the ground waiting for an hour after boarding.
- The menu for today's flight.
- Finally at 1:53pm we were pushed back.
- Making our way out to the runway.
- A forward facing camera again, but the glare was bad.
- Airborne at 2:11pm
- Some nice views of the airport as we climbed.
- We departed from the middle concourse.
- Another plane took off on the far runway at the same time.
- A final look at the French coastline.
- Star Wars Coca-cola.. I goofed and got sugar free..oops.
- Lunch starters
- Lunch main course
- My dessert.
- As we approached the coast of Iceland the views were interesting.
- We flew far north then almost due south through Canada and along the western United States.
- I watched a movie, took a nap and then decided I should start to work on some picture sets.
- I kept getting distracted by the view though.
- Hard to look to the left at the screen when this was to your right..
- Ready to make our turn south.
- Approaching the Los Angeles Area and descending.
- It was cloudy from just south of San Francisco on into LA.
- Due to the storm and winds we landed from the ocean heading east, which is fairly rare.
- Touchdown at 3:50pm PST.
- Still a couple more hours of the trip to get my bags, go through customs, find my shuttle home which took until almost 5:30pm, and make it through LA Traffic which got me home around 7:00pm to end this long travel day.
