Spent about an hour in the room. Mostly due to the power going out and waiting for the elevators to come back into service.
Decided to walk back to the parks since the rain had let up.
A closer look at the Disney Village Christmas photo op since there was no one around.
The stage looks ready for Christmas performances but I never saw any.
Returning to Walt Disney Studios Park and hoping for better luck with the new Frozen show wait.
Passing through Studio 1, the band was out again today.
Got in line at 3:05pm for the 3:45pm Frozen: A Musical Invitation show.
The queue snaked around Hollywood Blvd a bit.
Back by the main entrance again.
Moved into the main queue area to wait.
About 3:35 we were moved into the lobby of the Animation Celebration. It looked more or less the same as I remembered from 2015. Here is a multiplane camera.

Around 3:50pm we were led into the first room and greeted by Kristoff and Sven.

We move to the next room which is Elsa's Ice Palace.
The show exits to the Animation Academy space.
Turning to the right is a meet and greet, the zoetrope and the gift shop.
Olaf was out meeting guests.
This should be familiar to Disney California Adventure fans. The Toy Story Zoetrope is here.

Time to ride, 30 minute stand by.
Used a FastPass from the hotel and was boarding in less than 4 minutes.
Less than 8 minutes from entering the queue I was back outside.

The Crush Coaster had a 50 minute wait this evening.
The park was really feeling empty as I walked through it.
Walt Disney Studios Park wait times at 4:44pm
I went inside to warm up for a while then headed out to the Production Courtyard for Surprise Mickey at 5:45pm for the 6:00pm Surprise Mickey Christmas Special.
There was not much of a crowd when I first arrived.
Closer to show time it grew a bit, bit the rain also picked up.

6:00pm, show time in a light rain.

6:24pm making my way out of the Walt Disney Studios park since it was closed for the day now.

A crowd gathered for Mickey's Magical Christmas Lights that started at 6:30pm
I moved around to Main Street for a better view.

Before Disney Illuminations a special tribute to Mickey Mouse for his 91st Birthday was run. This is the same show that was used for his 90th Birthday celebration last year.
Here is a video of the Mickey Mouse birthday tribute. I ran out as it started and did not have the best of locations. It was not on the schedule.
Disney Illuminations started shortly after the preshow.
I kept moving back in hopes of finding a less obstructed view.
With the rain and smoke the lasers looked great tonight.
