I started my morning off with breakfast in the Compass Club Lounge at Disney's Newport Bay Club. this lounge is located on the main level (2) of the hotel. Here is a listing of times and other ammenities for the hotel.

The buffet line was not overly busy so here is a look at the choices this morning (which turned out to be the same every morning). Starting off on the right side with some water and honey.
Continuing on to some juices.

Making our way into cold cuts.
Coming around the front of the buffet are some warmer dishes. The covered one on the right is Bacon.
The waffles were not really warm nor did they taste that fresh.

A machine to make fresh pancakes. There was also a cereal bar but it was busy every time I walked by.. will get pictures on a later day.
Back to the room to prepare for the day. You were given one free bottle of water. If you wanted it replaced you had to pay.
The room was lined with portals. Some featured characters. Here is a look around.

Yesterday I mentioned the shower issue.. here was my solution to hold it up.
Decided to take the bus to the park to save some steps for the rest of the group. Here is the front of entrance of the Newport Bay Club, where we waited for the bus.

After arriving at the parks stopped by the RER station and bought our Navigo Pass for the week and then stopped by the ticket window at the Walt Disney Studios park and bought our Annual Passes before heading for Disneyland. This took under an hour (this picture was taken 50 minutes after the one in front of the Newport Bay Club.

9:30am entering the park to start my visit. The train station features decorations for the season.

Town Square
It was cold.. in the upper 30s to low 40s. Even the horses had blankets.

Looking back at the train station. The railroad is closed for my entire visit (I am now zero for two on visits to Paris and the railroad being in operation).

Snow characters are also in the planters around Main Street USA.
The horse drawn street car was boarding but I thought for my first trip up the street I should walk to see it fully.
The drinking fountain looks like it has seen better days.. plus it was not really working.
Main Street USA features six large garlands featuring LED lights, bells, and Mickey wreaths that span the street.

Walked through the castle to Fantasyland. The carousel was closed for renovation.
La Confiserie des Grois Fees was closed for renovation too.

Dumbo was open but the fountain was not on this morning.
Peter Pan had the longest wait as usual.
We had received FastPasses at the hotel, one for each day per person for any FastPass attraction. So we opted to use it on Peter Pan this morning. We walked right on.

Plan was to visit Pirates next but it was not open yet.
And there was a healthy line of guests waiting.

The signs you see in the windows list the merchandise that is displayed.

At the top and bottom of the hour Main Street comes alive with bells and a quick snow flury.
Stopped by the bakery.

A check of Disneyland Paris wait times at 11:40am. Longest waits were 30 min for Buzz & Big Thunder.
Found a spot in the hub for the Disney Christmas Parade. The sun popped out while waiting.

Of course by the time the parade made it to me it was drizzling to a light rain.
After the parade we followed it and exited the park.
Followed the crowd toward the Disney Village for lunch.
