Woke up this morning to rain outside.
The rain let up around 10am and I ventured out at that point

Always a let down to be leaving a Disney park and heading home.
One last picture of Main Street as I was turning to leave you could see some blue skies trying to break through.

Passing by the Walt Disney Studios Park no time to visit.
Decided to grab something to eat for everyone on the way back to the room.
Tried the self service kiosk. It was a breeze..
After eating took a last look around the room.

Out by the TV some drinks and snacks everything else is packed up.
Time to head to the lobby. A last look out our room window.
The lobby was rather busy just after noon on a Tuesday.
While waiting a look around the lobby,
Had some time so did a last lap around the grounds.
An airport bus pulled up. We opted for a car so not for us.

On the road to the airport just before 1pm. We drop around the park. Here is Discoveryland.
Then we turned and went through the fields and some small towns/villages. There was an accident on the main road so the driver took the scenic route.
Some of the streets were rather narrow.

No hot dogs allowed in the car.
Passing through some town. I did not see a sign. This was close to the airport though.
After being dropped off and checking in we headed to the airport lounge. Not a very interesting view from our seats.

Went down to our gate to board and the plane was waiting.

The appetizer
I order the chicken and this is what it looked like.

We arrived in New York at sunset.
After a long wait for our bags, quick trip through customs and brisk walk through JFK we arrived at our LAX flight with boarding well underway and less than half an hour till departure.
This was an older 767 and the worst plane and seat of the entire trip. Delta One service from JFK to LAX was not impressive compared to Air France Business or even the 757 we had from LAX to JFK on the way out.
Good bye New York.. was here twice in 10 days and spent less than 4 hours on the ground I think.

LAX was not a madhouse. By 12:02am we were on the curb waiting for our shuttle to take us home.. we were one of the first gates and our bags were first off. Too bad it was nearly half an hour for the shuttle then another 90 minutes to reach home and end the trip!
