Disneyland Paris Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
We next walked down by the Seine to take a river cruise. Had to make a decision to go get in line for the cruise or eat.. opted to cruise first then eat.. so will revisit this stand in 90 minutes or so..
The next cruise was at noon and it was 20 till.
A look at the river as I waited to board.
The boat was like a floating greenhouse with glass everywhere.
Another cruise passing by. This one had an open air top deck.
A water bus passing by. This stopped at several of the sites along the river. We thought about that but opted for the guided tour.
The Eiffel Tower loomed over us as we waited to set sail.
On our way.. interesting note they said the narration would be in multiple languages.. I was assuming headphones.. wrong.. they had a guide and she did it live in three languages.
I spent the first part of the cruise inside so you will see some bad reflections.
Some of the sights along the river.
Pont Alexandre III
Grand Palais
Continuing along the Seine
Passing by the Louvre we will visit there this evening.
People just hanging out along the river. Some eating lunch, most just sitting around.
Notre Dame from the Seine. We will be visiting there after lunch.
The netting is around the top of the bell tower you can climb to the top of as part of the tour.
I moved outside as we passed Notre Dame. This afforded better pictures but meant inhaling boat exhaust.
Pont d Austerlitz
Pont Charles de Gaulle
We turned around at this point and headed back.
Notre Dame from this side
How many car chases in movies have we seen in areas like this in Paris?
The Eiffel Tower in the distance.
Assemblee Nationale
Pont Alexandre III
Pont des Invalides
A lunch cruise passing by.. reminding us we are hungry..
An Eiffel Tower Eclipse
Almost back to the dock to end the cruise.
A lift heading to the top.
The menu at that stand near the dock.. where we choose to eat since it was now past 1pm and we were very hungry.
How they served the hot dog.. the bun/bread looked great.. the hot dog not so great to me.. I was told it tasted better than it looked.
I opted for chicken nuggets and fries.
Interesting the fries container was in English.
The view from our table at lunch.
Looking the other direction from the table.
Where we ordered our food.
A wider shot of the bridge.
A last look up at the Eiffel Tower before moving on.
We walked along the Seine to RER stop at Pont de lAlma
Passerelle Debilly to wrap up this section.
