Disneyland Paris Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.

  • Today heading to my 11th and final Disney park.. the Walt Disney Studios park.
  • It has very short operating hours each day.
  • Approaching the park the left side of the front gate is under renovation.
  • Only a couple gates were open but they handled the crowd with now problem.
  • Found this confusing. Signage and announcements all said you need your ticket and handstamp for re-admission and park hopping. But cast members said you did not. Guess this may be used during busy times only? Or a policy change?
  • Studio 1 is the Main Street of the Studios. It contains some shops and food. Interesting to note it is in a single/large building.
  • To the left the water tower and a gift shop.
  • Straight ahead a construction wall around the courtyard in front of Studio 1.
  • To the right the guest services and lost and found.
  • Approaching the entrance. Thought the shadow of the water tower was interesting.
  • Stepping inside Studio 1
  • The facades are made to be movie sets.. low quality movie sets at that.
  • Compare this to Hollywood Blvd at the Studios in Florida..
  • Taken from about the mid point.
  • A coffee shop/snack location. Behind it a counter service restaurant.
  • A car parked in front of the service station set.
  • Stepping out of Studio 1 and into the park. the Tower of Terror dominates the skyline. Notice the Partners statue and beyond it Hollywood Blvd.
  • A closer look at the Partners Statue (the lighting was not very helpful)
  • Hollywood Blvd is beyond Walt and Mickey.
  • Looking to the left slightly.
  • Looking further left toward the Place des Stars which is mostly behind walls for renovation.
  • I turned right and entered the Toon Studio portion of the park.
  • This hat marks the entrance to the Animation building.
  • A snack cart not open yet.
  • To the left as you walk through Toon Studio is the Cars Attraction. The rockwork here is much smaller in scale than Cars Land.
  • Across the walkway is Crushs Coaster.
  • The park had not opened yet. So a great time to get a couple pictures of the attraction with no guests.
  • Lightning and Mater overlook the area.
  • The set piece for the outdoor portion of the coaster.
  • For all you trash can followers.. the Toon Studio design (I will do a full post on them at some point.)
  • Photo meet and greets in the Toon Studio area.
  • Mickey was out this morning.
  • Another snack cart.
  • More facade on the Cars Attraction queue building.
  • The entrance for the Cars attraction.
  • So is this where Quido and Luigi went on vacation to from Radiator Springs in Carsland?
  • Passing Toy Story Land on my way to Ratatouille
  • The queue for the Ratatouille attraction stretched almost to Toy Story Land. They had not opened it nor the queue yet.
  • This area of the part is more on par with the level of detail and immersion you expect from a Disney park and really stands above the rest of the park.
  • Opening the queue, it was a couple minutes to 10 and park opening.
  • I grabbed a FastPass for later since they were turned on.
  • Found my group in line.
  • Lunch today will be at Remys, in the background of this picture.
  • Made it into the outdoor queue area.
  • Entering the building.
  • A very short indoor queue wraps through the roof tops of Paris.
  • A sign to indicate you need to pick up glasses
  • It is a 3D attraction so glasses are required.
  • Warnings...
  • Just about to board my ratmobile..it was about 20 after 10 by this time.
  • I enjoyed the attraction so only snapped this one picture as we drove through the refrigerator.
  • And one of the finale to see if it would come out or look really blurred.. not that good.. but not miserable either.
  • Exiting..
  • As you exit you can look into the restaurant.
  • Some pictures of the area as we exited.
  • Entering Toy Story Land.
  • Rex was behind a wall for renovation.
  • Slinky was closed for renovation too.
  • RC was open but I did not ride. The building/set looks similar to Hong Kong but not as impressive. I think because everything felt more cramped/tighter here.
  • Since they only had walls up at the entrance/exit you could watch the crews working on the renovation. Note they did reopen during the weekend for a couple of days then closed again.
  • The third attraction in the land is the Parachute drop.
  • Back through Toon Studio
  • There were quite a few of these trailer stands throughout the park.
  • The Tram Tour only had a 10 min wait so we decided to give it a try.
  • A car in the queue area
  • Warnings...
  • Plenty of queue space.. not used this morning.
  • Did I mention it was cool this morning. Cast Members were bundled up.
  • More unused queue near the load area.
  • Movie posters in the queue. Not very recent...
  • Our tram approaching.
  • Onboard a screen in each car.
  • Heading out.
  • Our narrators. All pre-recorded in English and French.
  • Cast members in the front car but they appear to be just safety observers.
  • Looking back at the station.
  • You drive for a couple of minutes through some trees.
  • then you come upon some of the boneyard. Here is a plane from Pearl Harbor
  • From Armageddon
  • From a Hunchback production.
  • Anyone remember this? Appears to be a Horizons sub.
  • Passing a larger set.
  • A random topiary.
  • Approaching Catastrophe Canyon
  • A tram parked out back.
  • Pulling in.
  • The set looks more or less the same as the now closed Orlando version.
  • Except here they do not try to pass it off as a working set instead just a showcase of effects.
  • Cars shaking.
  • Fire...
  • The flood is coming.
  • Pulling around back to show how it is done.
  • Video plays twice.. once in French and once in English explaining the effects as we drove.
  • Drove back down the same road.
  • Entering another set, this time London from Reign of Fire.
  • A large fire effect as the tram pauses. It then pulled forward and ran again for those of us in the back.
  • As we pull away more vehicles.
  • Looking back into the set.
  • You drive by more of the bone yard.
  • Seems he should be in Toy Story Land
  • Pulling back into the station to unload and end this trip. It was about 15 minutes from when we pulled out till we returned.
  • Here are some video clips from most of the trip.
  • Looking toward Studio 1 from the end of Hollywood Blvd where the Tram Tour is.
  • to the right is stage 2 where Cinemagique is we will visit there later.
  • Statues around the Art of Animation building.
  • On the side of Studio 1 is a Monsters Inc photo spot.
  • My next stop Stage 3 and Animagique.
  • The queue area.
  • They said no pictures but everyone pulled out cameras so I snapped one picture of the start of the show. Cast Members did go around asking to not take pictures.. so I only took the one. the show is a black-light show featuring Donald Duck going through various scenes. It starts off with Normal lighting and Mickey and Donald working. That is what this picture is of.
  • Stopped by the Disney Animation Gallery next
  • There is a store and this interactive area.
  • An animation academy class in session.
  • Learning to draw Olaf.
  • The cars were calling me... no wait and had 20 minutes till lunch.
  • Or do we go ride the carpets of Aladdin across the way.. it had a 15 minute wait so that was out.
  • The coaster going by.
  • The queue for Cars Quatre Roues Rallye
  • How to properly sit/distribute weight.
  • The cars are really really tight for adults.
  • Here is some video of the Cars Quatre Roues Rallye in action and from my ride.
  • Making my way to lunch at Remys now.
