Disneyland Paris Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Ventured out of the room and down to the lobby just as the sun was rising, around 7am.
The elevator lobby on the 7th floor.
Looking down the hallway.
A closer look at the carpet design.
Inside the elevator
The 2nd floor (lobby/main foor) elevator lobby featured this display case.
A wider view to the left and right are elevators.
The gift shop is located near by (we were in the North Wing)
Some games and a photo backdrop across from the gift shop. Kind of an odd place out to me.
Looking back a computer kiosk and charging station were available. At first the charging station threw me then when I noticed the rooms have very few electrical outlets it made more sense.
In the center is the Redwood Bar & Lounge. This area connects the two wings of the hotel.
As you near the South wing and the lobby is the childrens corner, named the Little Prairie and featuring the Rescue Rangers.
Looks like they have art sessions or at least coloring throughout the day.
Tables and seating were in the area.
Also a wood floor. Guessing for activities? Notice the Rescue Ranger artwork.
Looking toward the reception area.
The concierge desk. All quiet at this hour.
Even reception/front desk was a ghost town, and it was after 7am.
Seating in the reception area
Looking back are the restrooms (the kids area is just off camera to the right in the back and directly to right is the concierge area)
Turning to the right.
A closer look at the seating area.
The Golden Forest Club check in area. Behind the wall are two desks where you can check in or ask questions throughout your stay. The Cast Members were very pleasant to interact with and willing to make calls to find answers (we kept stumping them).
A Disneyland Paris Resort map near the entrance/exit.
Outside. To the left are the front doors. Behind me bell services. In the tent in front was an x-ray machine.. guessing for the airport buses. The bus on the right is a shuttle to the train station.
The front doors.
The front desk.
A map of the hotel. The Main Building has two wings and then there are a handful of out buildings off to the right. (One of the buildings houses the pool the other 5 rooms).
An information screen
Some international news printed out each day. Nothing from the US.. closest I could find was the UK.
Walking through the Redwood Bar & Lounge
The giftshop (the Northwest Passage)
Making my way to the Golden Forest Lounge for breakfast. Curious what they offered.
I was the first person of the morning and had the place to myself so I walked around and took some pictures. Here is some of the fresh bakery and a toaster.
Minute Maid orange and apple juice.. only complaint is the tiny glasses.. they were more shot glasses than juice!
A hot beverage machine. From the coffee drinker in the group they did not like the coffee. Tea was good though.
Looking back at the main room. To the left more seating. In the center the buffet. And to the far right the door.
At the hot stations they had pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. I did not want to open it and cool them off..
A typical table. Interesting they seat you.
A wider shot of the buffet.
One more slightly wider shot from my seat.
Looking up at the ceiling.
Fresh croissants.
Other bakery
A selection of yogurts
Cereals
Fresh fruits, water, and pineapple orange juice.
After breakfast walked through the gift shop.
Very little hotel specific.. just the one pin. But a fair amount of the 7 hotel logo merchandise.
A wall of Christmas merchandise. Curious if this is year round or because we are approaching the season? Not so much Halloween.
The sign for the gift shop
The inside of the elevator doors
On my way to the parks just past 9am.
Looking back at the main building of the hotel.
