Disneyland Paris Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Entered my 10th Disney Park just before 6pm local time. Ahead of me the Train Station and beyond it Main Street USA.
A closer look at the Train Station which is currently closed for renovation.
Looking to my left a gift shop and the exit.
Oops the 5:30 parade was in Town Square. timing is everything!
One quick picture before moving on. I wanted to see a couple of attractions before they closed for renovation tomorrow so no time for the parade today.
The Liberty Arcade. The park has two arcades/enclosed walkways that parallel Main Street USA. These allow for easy travel during crowded times, like right now with the parade on the street.
The detail in the arcades is great. I will double back on later days for more pictures.
My first view of Sleeping Beauty Castle. It is more impressive than the other castles to me.
Halloween kicks off in a couple of days but there are already decorations up throughout the park.
Looking to the right as I passed over the draw bridge.
As you enter Fantasyland a large photo spot for Maleficent has been set up.
Fantasyland trashcans..
Looking up at Sleeping Beauty Castle as I walked further into Fantasyland.
The brambles have a dragon head/shape in them.
The Carrousel
The Teacups
Some snacks at one of the stores.
My destination.. the storybook land area. Both attractions were set to close for several weeks of renovation and this was my one and only shot at experiencing them.
A large tree as you enter the area
A sign with the two attractions that in the area.
You pass under the Disneyland Railroad track.
First you see Le Pays des Contes de Fees the storybook land canal boats.
No wait this evening, it was just after 6pm.
A preview of what is to come as you enter the queue.
The queue is rather large and not in use right now.
On the hill is Casey Jr.
The boats here feature three rows and no live narration.
Casey Jr. making his way around the track.
A large storybook at the load/unload area.
It is a continuous load from a rotating platform (just like Grizzly River Run or Kali River Rapids in the states)
Safety warnings.
Most signage was in French and English.
First up Snow White and Tangled.
Spotted Dopey at the mine.
Next up Hansel & Gretel
The windmill from the Old Mill
The tower from Tangled
The Little Mermaid
The Beasts Castle
Pierre et le Loup (really surprised this has not been made into Frozen)
Night on Bald Mountain
The Cave of Wonders from Aladdin
Some large trees in the area.
Spotted Abu inside the cave.
The Sword in the Stone
Beauty and the Beast
Belle by the fountain.
A closer look
Wizard of Oz
Approaching the exit.
Here is a better view of the load/unload platform.
A point of view video of my first cruise through.
The trashcans in the area
Next up Casey Jr. Le Petit Train Du Cirque
Again no wait.
A train waiting to come into the station. No operator onboard here like in Anaheim.
The station features load gates and the trains bench seating with safety bars at each row.
Waiting to be dispatched.
Just like Anaheim the train circles the canals.
That crossing is for the Disneyland Railroad. Too bad it is closed my entire trip.
Unfortunately the Casey Jr track looks like a coaster instead of train tracks.
Here is a point of view video of my Casey Jr Experience.
The lines were even shorter when I exited so I opted to give each another pass.
First up an encore of boats
This is the full line.. maybe a dozen guests.
Onboard for round two.
The old hag in front of the dwarfs cottage.
Casey Jr.
Belle in her village.
A better view of the seating configuration
Next up a second trip on Casey Jr.
My favorite type of queue.. an empty one.
The station really shows why the renovation is needed and probably late in coming.
A closer look.
Time to exit the area and explore the park a bit before Disney Dreams.
Popcorn cart pricing.
One last look back.
