Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
This section takes a look at Disneys Hollywood Hotel. This is their more moderately priced hotel of the two and is themed around classic Hollywood. Here we are approaching from the shuttle stop.
The benches at the stop had just been redone.
The trash can design out front of the hotel.
The covered walkway leading to the shuttle stop.
A closer look at the cover over the driveway/arrival area.
Celebrity Gifts is the gift shop, we will visit there near the end of the tour.
The sign near the front door
The front doors.
There are a lot of Mickeys at this hotel. Here is one on a mirror between the two sets of entrance doors.
When you enter the lobby. Straight ahead is the pool area/gardens. To the left the front desk. To the right the gift shop and beyond it the restaurants.
Looking right.
The front desk. Quiet this afternoon.
A map of the grounds.
The lobby has several seating areas
Minnie outside the corridor leading to elevators and the guest rooms.
A closer look at Minnie
A quick look outside (much more later).
Looking back to where I just walked in.
Let us go up and look at a guest room. Each floor has a different movie poster to help you make sure you are on your floor.
The hallway carpet.
Notice the Mickey in the carpet?
A typical guest room.
It features two double beds (or 1 king bed)
A look at the carpet.
A closer look at the art between the beds.
A small sitting area.

The closet has a safe and mini fridge
The room numbers in the hallway.
We went across the hall to see the other side of the hotel. The rooms are the same.
A different picture in this room. I want to say they said there were three or four variations.
This side looks out toward the park.
From the end of the hallway you can get a good view of the Explorers Lodge construction site. This will be their third, and largest hotel, opening in 2017.
The elevators
Signage around the lobby.
An area for kids to wait while their parents check in.
Passing by the Front Desk
Another seating area in the lobby.
A closer look at the lights
Looking out the front doors.
The Studio Lounge.. we will double back and look at this later.
Now we are heading outside.
Walking down Hollywood Blvd.
The Piano Pool is the centerpiece of the grounds.
A familiar sign (I spend way too many hours commuting on the 101!)
Looking back at the lobby.
The pool, it was closed today due to the weather I think.
A photo op. You can go inside.
The pool features a water slide.
Here you can see the piano keys toward the slide.
Heading out to Mulholland Drive which is a walkway/garden area.
The pool bar looks like the Hollywood Bowl
On the drive there are a couple of cars you can take pictures with.
The end of the road...
You can look out to the water and the walkway along the water that you can take to the Disneyland Hotel.
Heading back.
A play area for kids.
The Piano Pool
Thought the guard rail benches were a nice touch.
Can you spot the hidden Mickey here?
A closer look

A look around the dining area
The Hollywood & Dine is a quick service location.
A look at some of the food offerings.
Look familiar, but slightly different...
Ducktales the Movie poster..
They are open all day long and late into the evening.
Next up a visit to Malibu Games. This is the arcade and children activity center.
A group of kids were creating some artwork when we stopped by.
A look at the activity schedule (I know it is a bit hard to ready)
Thought this was great. If you are a Hotel guest they have blocks of time when the games are free to play.
More movie posters line the hallways. These are in Chinese
Of course a Frozen one.
A classic Mickey Mouse
Mickey marks this corridor and the elevators on this side of the lobby.
Some pressed coin options
A look inside Chef Mickeys
This reminded me of a restaurant you would find on a cruise ship for some reason..
Place settings
Notice the lights above..
This is a buffet restaurant.

We opted to walk back to the Disneyland Hotel. Here is the walkway. To the right the construction for the Explorers Lodge.

Back to the Disneyland Hotel to regroup for a minute then head back to the park for the evening.
