  • This section takes a look at Disneys Hollywood Hotel. This is their more moderately priced hotel of the two and is themed around classic Hollywood. Here we are approaching from the shuttle stop.

  • There are a lot of Mickeys at this hotel. Here is one on a mirror between the two sets of entrance doors.
  • When you enter the lobby. Straight ahead is the pool area/gardens. To the left the front desk. To the right the gift shop and beyond it the restaurants.

  • Let us go up and look at a guest room. Each floor has a different movie poster to help you make sure you are on your floor.

  • I was trying to get a picture of the relief on the wallpaper but this is the best I got.

  • We went across the hall to see the other side of the hotel. The rooms are the same.

  • From the end of the hallway you can get a good view of the Explorers Lodge construction site. This will be their third, and largest hotel, opening in 2017.

  • The Piano Pool is the centerpiece of the grounds.

  • Heading out to Mulholland Drive which is a walkway/garden area.

  • On the drive there are a couple of cars you can take pictures with.

  • You can look out to the water and the walkway along the water that you can take to the Disneyland Hotel.

  • We instead stopped by the Hollyood & Dine

  • The Hollywood & Dine is a quick service location.
  • A look at some of the food offerings.
  • Look familiar, but slightly different...
  • Ducktales the Movie poster..
  • They are open all day long and late into the evening.
  • Next up a visit to Malibu Games. This is the arcade and children activity center.
  • A group of kids were creating some artwork when we stopped by.

  • Thought this was great. If you are a Hotel guest they have blocks of time when the games are free to play.

  • Back to the lobby seating area to wrap up the tour.

  • We opted to walk back to the Disneyland Hotel. Here is the walkway. To the right the construction for the Explorers Lodge.

  • Back to the Disneyland Hotel to regroup for a minute then head back to the park for the evening.
