The first section of Disneyland turn stiles is walled off as they start the replacement project.

The Christmas lights have been installed in the trees. You can see the power cords/vines stretching over the walkway.

Looks like a stage is set up in front of the castle, we will head that way later.
8:03am - Decided to visit the Jungle Cruise.
8:06am - A number of skippers were onboard our boat.
No visible signs of progress on the renovation work. The scrim and walls hide it well.

8:15am - Adventureland

8:28am - Decided to go for a cruise on Pirates of the Caribbean. It was just over a 5 minute wait.
The Haunted Mansion gift shop status.
Looks to be enclosed now and electrical run to some of the posts where lights and signs will go.
All quiet at Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Previews start next week and it opens in 4 weeks on Nov 15th.
No signs of anyone working this morning.

The Hungry Bear reopens next Friday with its BBQ menu.

There were a number of painters on site working throughout the queue.

My group was called over 10 minutes ago. No push notification again. I get other alerts though.
9:04am - Ran into the end of the virtual queue return queue for Haunted Mansion.
The backup is scanning. There are four cast members but guests are still entering the mansion faster than they can scan the groups.
A structure to support the cover for the queue is visible now.
9:13am - Just under 10 minutes to reach the foyer.

9:31am - Rise of the Resistance was posted at 45 minutes. It looked to be moving ok so we decided to give it a try.
10:00am - Turned out to be about 30 minutes to reach the pre-show briefing.
No final appearance by Kylo Ren today. Just onscreen.
10:19am - Exiting Rise of the Resistance
No wind at the moment as I waited to set off on a cruise aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat.
New Orleans Square as we steamed by.
The new queue and park area seem to be moving along, hard to tell a lot of progress with the limited angles.
Fencing up around this tree.. guessing that means concrete work in the area.

11:10am - Fantasyland was busy. The queue for Storybook Land canal boats spilled out to the walkway.
It filled an extended portion then stretched out. Here was the end.
it's a small world renovation continues until Nov 15th
The queue for Runaway Railway was backed up entering the building.
The walls are down and Toontown Station is ready to go.
Alice in Wonderland was also backed up.

There were three sections roped off. The invited audience, standby audience then everyone else in the back. This was my view.

The main section is still Halloween but this will be changing very soon.
Interesting signage. Seems that is not a great selling point for parents looking for a reasonable souvenir, the highlighted ones are nearly $25.
