  • They brought out several puppies that are only three months old to promote the upcoming Pupstruction show.

  • Super Kitties is an action-packed series about four fierce and furry superhero kittens – Ginny, Sparks, Buddy and Bitsy – who are on a mission to make Kittydale a more caring and pawesome place.
  • Kindergarten The Musical is an animated musical series about navigating all of the firsts that young kids experience while attending Kindergarten.

  • 12:57pm - 35 minute standby for WEB Slingers this afternoon
  • I decided to give Single Rider a try. Only a couple guests in front of me outside.
  • 12:59 in the preshow, my timing was good so far.
  • Backed up to the stairs.
  • 1:19pm - About to board, so about a 20 minute wait.
  • I was in the purple seat.
  • 29 minutes from entering queue to being back at the entrance. The Standby has grown since I entered.
  • 1:28pm - 75 minute stand by for Radiator Springs Racers
  • Only 4 guests in front of me for single rider so I was on in a matter of minutes.
  • The misters were running today.
  • 1:33pm - 5 minutes after entering queue I was pulling out of the station.
  • 1:42pm - 14 minutes from entering I was back on Route 66

  • Food and Wine Festival merchandise was still for sale near the Little Mermaid. Surprised it was not Disney Junior for the event.

  • The Grand Californian Hotel lobby has this large display featuring Batuu and the Millennium Falcon. There were no signs but assuming this is for Star Wars day next week. Someone said this is made of Rice Krispies.
  • The new guest walkway to reach Disney California Adventure from the Paradise Pier Hotel is under construction.
  • Last week Disneyland confirmed that the Paradise Pier Hotel will be re-themed to a Pixar Hotel soon. So I decided to take a walk through the hotel for some before pictures.
  • Looks like the hotel is already celebrating its new theme.
  • The kids area was closed.
  • The market is open, but no restaurant currently is.
  • They are working on the pool area as well as the driveway. There is a shuttle to take guests to the Disneyland Hotel pool available inside the garage.

  • Stopped by the Disneyland Hotel to check out the construction.
  • The third floor decking is mostly complete and and columns rising up to the 4th now.

  • Last week Disney shared concept art for a renovated Jazz Kitchen. So I took some before pictures today.

  • Live shows returned to the Royal Theatre today in Fantasy Faire. Here is some video of the 3:45pm Beauty and the Beast show.
  • The original Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough opened on this date in 1957 (nearly 2 years after the park opened and about 2 years before the film was released)
  • I took a stroll through to mark the occasion.
  • 4:20pm a lot of the curb seating in the shade is taken up with guests waiting for the 8:30 parade.

  • A long line on Buena Vista Street. Mickey Mouse is out by Elias & Co.. way in the distance
  • There was a photo shoot going on at the Avengers Campus entrance.

  • Lightning lane neon was added a while ago, but this is my first time walking over to see it turned on.

  • I saw people running out of the corner of my eye then realized it was Black Widow leading guests on a jog for some reason.

  • At 8pm received an alert on my phone that I could enter the World of Color Viewing area.
  • I went to check out the area around 8:10pm. The viewing entrance near Littler Mermaid was not open but the one on the Pier side plus the Yellow one further on were both open.
  • The line to enter the Pier side went up to the top of the ramp. I opted not to stand in that and milled around the area waiting for the line to shrink or the other entrance to open. The other entrance opened around 8:15.
  • Everyone was heading to the front and mid section. I opted to stay in the back behind the dessert party for a wide unobstructed view.

  • The closest screen in the center did not look good this evening.
  • Noticed the new hotel across Katella turned its lights off for the show too.
  • 9:26pm - Joining the crowd exiting the park.

  • 9:39pm - Onboard a tram and ready to depart
  • 9:43pm - watching the fireworks from the Pixar Pals Parking Structure escalator
  • Fireworks over Batuu from the parking structure to end my visit.
