I drew a parking spot near the far corner of the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure today.
The new elevator project for the Mickey and Friends parking structure wrapped up a couple of weeks ago. Here is what the 4th floor looks like now.
The Chip and Dale parking area reopened several weeks ago too.

As is the normal routine signs were up saying Rise of the Resistance boarding groups are all gone (they disappear in a couple of minutes every day). The number of signs seems to have decreased slightly.
Disney California Adventure waits at 1:11pm
The 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival started today. The parade route was congested with the festival & construction walls.
A map of the festivities this year. The layout is the same as previous festivals. Marketplaces along the parade route, some demonstrations on the Backlot stage and a beer garden in Paradise Gardens.

A digital display with information about the festival, a little hard to see with the glare this afternoon. Looks to be a re-used Galaxy's Edge display.

You can once again order from any kiosk. No mobile order option like Festival of Holidays though.

The marketplaces are flanked by menu boards, this year no history or facts. Just the same menu on both sides. Here is the Nuts About Cheese menu

Paradise Gardens is the Festival Beer Garden again this year.

No meet and greet this season, the area is filled with tables.
Performances on the stage do not start until later in the day (3:30pm today)
The Garden Grill is open for the festival and had a healthy line.

The Palisades Stage will host concerts on weekend nights. Tonight is Phat Cat Swinger.

The Cozy Cone has scaffolding and walls up for some renovation work, guessing repainting and general upkeep. The cones are still open for business during the work.
There are temporary menu signs on the walls.
And tape for extended queues if needed.

Renovation - repainting - of the Hyperion Facade mural continues. The scrim was mostly removed today.
The walls are down from Sunset Blvd near the Collector's Fortress. The pavement project has wrapped up.
Where you leave Hollywood Land and enter the Avenger's Campus (eventually)
Wonder if there will be walls going up and the project continuing toward the parade gate or if this is the end of the new pavement.

Making my way to Disneyland. Magic Happens parade officially premieres today at 3:30pm. Here is the current park map and times guide.
About an hour before parade time and curb seating is long gone and they are several guests deep throughout most of the parade route.

The planters appear to be finished on both sides of the Tomorrowland entrance.
Well no strollers are parking directly in front of the sign.. but I think the sign was meant for the entire area.

The parade route out by it's a small world was full too (except for the terrace area that was blocked off for media)
It was broadcaster day so there were tables set up for live broadcasts on the terraces.
The scrims were down from Snow White's Scary Adventures so you can get a look at the current state of the renovation and color transformation.
The carrousel roof is starting to take shape.
Geppetto was out signing autographs.
3:04pm decided to find a spot for the parade. Plan was to just watch the first with a minimal wait. So this was my view.

The walkways continued to be crowded.
Returned to Disneyland. Noticed the Rise of the Resistance warning sign is off to the side now out of the way.
Town Square at 5:09pm, 50 min till parade time and not nearly as busy as the first parade. The roped off area on the right is for dining package guests.

5:30pm found a spot for the 6:00pm Magic Happens Parade.
5:50pm street is just about clear for a marching band.
Dana Middle School Marching Band was playing it's a small world then Mickey Mouse Club March as they passed by.
6:05pm - Parade time, you could hear the intro down the street.

The 6:00pm Magic Happens Parade at Disneyland takes place under the lights for the next week or so until the time changes. Here are several video clips from opening day.

The Bakery Tour returned last week from a renovation project. They worked on the kitchen, not the attraction portion it appears.

This evening the lights on the Incredicoaster were blinking which made a great backdrop for the concert in Paradise Park.

Soarin' Over California has returned for the run of the Festival, so I used a FastPass to experience the original film.

Returned to Main Street USA to find a spot for Mickey's Mix Magic. This was the sight at 9:17pm (showtime is 9:30pm)
By showtime it filled in quite a bit.
