Disneyland Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
The forest in the tram plaza has grown since last week. Trees are placed in the trenches nearest the Mickey and Friends parking structure now.
The foundation for the new elevators is in place and the structure is starting to rise up.
A closer look at the foundation work.
Another look at the plaza from closer to the escalators.
A lone tree in this hole.
The next row they have installed the large grid/mesh. Assuming that is for drainage.
Panning across it.
The mound of dirt that is being used for backfill is shrinking.
From the corner of the structure a wider look at the new tram plaza.
The trenches on the far side are all filled in. They have started to build some of the planter structures.
Under the tent appears to be where the conduit for the lights and speakers currently ends.
A closer look at the grid being added around the trees in the trenches.
What a filled in area looks like. It looks reads for the forms and curb now.
You can make out a couple of forms on the far side for planters and maybe signage?
Walking along the Pixar Pals parking structure you really cannot see down into the tram plaza because the walls are high and the part that sticks out.
Made it to the far side of the structure to check out the new bridge and walkway work.
Concrete for the new walking path looks to be mostly poured now.
Monorail blue cruising by the site.
Off to the right you can see a curb has gone in. Assuming that means parking or a driveway will come up to that point.
A wider look at the new curb.
A wider look showing the new bridg.
Looking the other way at the tram plaza from this side.
Looking into the new forest.
Heading down the escalator from the 5th floor.
The back of the floor signage, do not think I posted a picture of this last week.
Waiting to depart the tram stop. A look at the far wall which features characters in bubbles.
Heavier lines at the ticket booths this week compared to the previous couple of visits.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Merchant & Food Guides available at the turnstiles.
The Main Street Train Station this great afternoon.
Guests using Lightning hats to hold their spots along the curb while they sat in the shade.
Main Street USA at 1:22pm
The Disneyland Resort All-American College Band has a revised schedule due to no day time parade (and today due to another commitment).
A check of Disneyland Wait Times at 1:26pm (This afternoon glare and shadows were a challenge on the line board).
Next up - Mickey and Friends Band-Tastic Cavalcade which is running from the 18th through 1st, between the end of Soundsational and the start of the Main Street Electrical Parade.
Video clips from the 1:30pm Mickey and Friends Band-Tastic Cavalcade.
The Main Street fire truck leads the procession.
Onboard are Snow White, Ariel and Cinderella.
Mickey and the gang in their Get Your Ears on Celebration costumes follow close behind.
After performing one song the ground reforms and marches on.
The Disneyland Band provides the music for the Cavalcade.
After the band another group of characters spanning many classic Disney films and decades.
In the yellow car are Thumper, Mulan and Jane.
Following the car are Alice and some villains.
The group marching off down the street.
Thanks to the slow march and some pauses/stops you can walk along and get in front of them again.
Arriving in Town Square.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse
Next stop Disney California Adventure. A Lion King pin trading game along Buena Vista Street.
Preparing for the Red Car Trolley News Boys in Carthay Circle.
Wait times at 2:07pm
The Red Car Trolley News Boys will have their last performance on Tuesday the 23rd. So I stopped to enjoy the show. Here is video of the full show and pictures will follow on the next several pages.
Mickey Mouse arrives with a suitcase and dream.
Moving up the parade route to check out the Marvel project status. The framing looks to be wrapping up and they are preparing to add the first layers of the facade.
On this beam are signatures from those involved in the project.
Red at the Cozy Cone this afternoon
Route 66
Racers had a posted 105 min wait
FastPass return was backed up across Cross Street, due to an earlier closure.
Paradise Bay still looks a little brown.
Woody & Buzz Lightyear were out for photos in front of their attraction.
The Toy Story FastPass return queue was filled
And it spilled out and went back toward the character line.
Walking by the Pixar Pier popcorn cart.
Notice who is turning the popcorn? Duke Caboom from Toy Story 4 (well he should be turning but he was not in motion on Friday).
The Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind had a 30 minute posted wait (as did the Pal-A-Round) so I skipped it... someday I will go for a spin.
The lemonade stand was closed again. Is this now closed all the time or just when I happen to walk by?
An open stretch of concrete. Off to the left notice Little Mermaid was using the far portion of its queue.
The cast of Tale of the Lion King waiting to step off and start their performance.
Show time.
Walking by the Marvel project from this angle you can see they material staged and ready to be installed on the framing.
Moving to Hollywood Land. The new theater entrance is inching along. A pipe sticking out, assuming conduit for the electrical for the new sign.
Walls are up just past the intersection with Sunset Blvd in front of Guardians of the Galaxy. Standby is entering through the garden on the left, FastPass through the sidewalk in front.
The Standby entrance.
More work along the curb.
Beyond the Guardians dance party you can see the sidewalk path for FastPass return.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Dance Off! is really hemmed in by the construction. Surprised it does not move or go on hiatus during the work.
Notice anything missing? The overhead Red Car Trolley lines have been removed from mid block on Sunset to the end of the line. Best guess is the Red Car route is going to be altered and most likely run to the left instead of right
Looking up the street you can see where the lines currently stop.
The Black Panther Meet and Greet seems in such an awkward location.
Guests waiting for the next performing arts group (or maybe just enjoying the shade)
Returned to Disneyland for the second Band-Tastic Cavalcade.
Plenty of curb seating in the sun, this is about 1 minute before they stepped off.

The Disneyland Band marching to Town Square for the nightly Flag Retreat (due to another commitment they performed today instead of the College Band)
This past Wednesday Disneyland turned 64 years old. Time is really flying, seems like only a few years ago the park was gearing up for the big 50th celebration.
A new promotion has started for Annual Passholders, refillable tumblers for $14.99, refills cost 99 cents.
Disneyland waits at 4:53pm
Great weather at the park today. Topping out near 80 with a slight breeze.
Last week I missed this second Adventures by Disney ad in Frontierland.
Surprised they have these boards on, without needing the boarding pass system since the first day seems they can cover these for the time being.
The Disneyland Railroad steaming along the Rivers of America as I make my way toward Batuu.
A closer look at one type of light as I entered the new land.
The base of the light.
Walking through the resistance area

The transition from Batuu to Frontierland.
Almost 6pm and the sign still says lunch.
The 2019 Disneyland All-American College Band now performs a 6:00pm set in Town Square. It features the music from their pre-parade set before, but played in one spot. Here is a video from Friday of the full set.
They open up with a Star Wars Medley.
From their Tower of Power Medley.
They have been one trombone player short for most sets for most of the season due to an injury. He is in a wheel chair recovering. Friday he was able to join the band for a couple more sets including this one in Town Square.

Fight ON! Always great to see USC members of the band!
As the sun set and night fell I made my way back toward Batuu, by way of Frontierland.
Along the trail noticed the pretzel stand was down the path. It may have been here since the land opened but first time it stood out to me.
The digital display as you enter from the Big Thunder trail was covered this evening.
A steady stream of guests leaving the area.
Transitioning into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
This was my first visit to Batuu with the lights on. So the next series of pages feature pictures from my first walk through.
The First Orders outpost.

Entrance to Rise of the Resistance, opening January 17th.
Chewie and Rey were out and moving about the resistance area this evening.
They started a game of hide and seek with some kids. Chewie needs some help hiding it seems...
When Rey came close he would move around the umbrella.
Rey's turn to hide.. she set off with a group of kids.
Chewie searching for them. Eventually he found them down toward the Marketplace.
Looking toward Critter Country.

Others had the same idea
More guests gathered for the show.
An hour wait posted for Smuggler's Run
Show time.
I decided to move around Black Spire Outpost to try out some other views.
Here is a short video clip of Disneyland Forever seen from Black Spire Outpost
I was passing by Big Thunder as the Finale went off.
On the tram and heading for the structure to wrap up this visit. If you were curious on timing. The finale picture was at 9:44pm and this one at 9:53pm.
