The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Looking toward Galaxy's Edge from the parking structure.
In the distance there are some construction fences up. Looks like they have started to work on Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway potentially.
Spotted the Columbia sailing the river.
Trees are being installed in the parking structure tram plaza.
They have dug large trenches and placed the trees into them.
The electrical conduit and runs for the old lights looks like it is going to be re-used.
On the far side they have started to fill in the trenches and are laying pipes, guessing for sprinklers.
Smaller pits dug closer to the escalators.
Another view of the work from near the elevators.
Dirt waiting to be put into the trenches.
The Pixar Pals Parking structure has opened since my last visit. Making my way over to the new garage.
A new elevator shaft is being added to the Mickey and Friends structure.
They have cut away the fence on each level in preparation for the new addition.
Pixar Pals Parking Structure trash can.
In the new structure your views are more limited. There is a taller wall with plants on top vs the Mickey and Friends garage where you can see out.
Holding the camera up you get a limited view out.
Signage on the 5th level.
There were cars in the new garage filling a good portion of most of the levels as I walked through.
A look at the stairwells, which are also more enclosed on this structure.
There are three primary elevators that go down to ground level.
Opposite them on the South/Magic Way side are two elevators that go to the 2nd floor for the future bridge.
Looking back at where I just walked from.
Heading down the steps.
Overlooking Magic Way.
The new bridge over Magic Way, Disney has said it will be open by September.
A closer look
On the other side of the street the bridge connects to a concrete ramp down to ground level.
The ramp joins other paths on ground level and leads to Downtown Disney.
The old Downtown Disney parking lot is now closed. Downtown Disney parking is on the other side of Paradise Pier hotel only now.
A look at the signs on the two elevators for the 2nd floor. They note there is no tram access from them.
The escalator plaza.
Another look at the future walkway to Downtown Disney.
A view of the top of the bridge.
The tram plaza from the Pixar Pals parking structure.
A look at some of the signage as I continue to walk around the new structure.
Guessing the tapped over part is about the walkway to Downtown Disney.
The temporary barriers on the sidewalk are to guide those walking to Downtown Disney & the parks to the intersection with Disneyland Drive to cross the street.
Looking up from the second floor.
Where the bridge over Magic Way will be on the 2nd floor.
The current walkway to the parks crosses the tram route here.
Heading out to Magic Way.
Looks like there will be a ground level entrance path at the intersection too.
A closer look at the ground level path crossing under the ramp from the bridge.
Looking back across Magic Way.
Where the bridge meets the ramp.
A closer look at the new pathway project from ground level.
Downtown Dr & Magic Way intersection.

Downtown Disney parking is being directed to make the lot on the other side. No left turn into former parking lot.
The entrance for the parking structure is open and not busy this afternoon.
Downtown Disney lot is blocked off and has signs saying no parking.
Except for Disneyland Hotel Cast Members.
Pop-Up Disney! banners as you approach Downtown Disney.
Signs on the ground too once through security.
More elements have been added to the planters throughout Downtown Disney since my last visit. Some flowers in this one.

If you are not in alignment the figures look a little odd.
As you move around things come into focus more.

A check of the Marvel project from the Pal-A-Round.
Starting on the left side of the project.
Looks like the start of foundation work maybe. In the foreground you can see a roof on the steel structure we spotted last time.
A concrete pumper backstage. Could not tell where they were working.
Fences up in the middle of the Simba parking lot. This is where they are directing all Downtown Disney parking now.
Wonder if that will be for a walkway or just some sort of separator for the lot.
Several units from the Pixar Play Parade were out backstage at DCA.
Oops.. this AP corner sign is pointing the wrong way.
Plenty of seating if you want to sit on concrete in the sun.
Was surprised to see this stand closed on a hot afternoon.
Used a FastPass to go for a Flight on Soarin Over California.
Entering Hollywood Land
Looks like the old facade is removed and they are starting to add the new one.
Nothing really visible from Sunset Blvd of the Marvel work.
The Red Car News Boys only have a couple weeks left. It was announced last week that they will be ending their run on July 23rd.

Nothing was moving inside this popcorn cart in the hub.
Entering Frontierland.
A poster has recently been added to the side of the Bonanza Outfitters facing Pioneer Mercantile off to the right in this picture.
It is for Adventures by Disney.
A better look at where it is.
Looking toward the Big Thunder Trail.
The Mark Twain Riverboat steaming by.
Another Adventures by Disney sign in the Jungle Cruise queue. Too many guests to get a clean picture (and I did not have time to wait in the queue).
Time for the 5:15pm Disneyland Resort All-American College Band set on Main Street USA. The start with a Star Wars Medley in Town Square (pictures and videos on the blog from previous days if you want to hear/see the performance).
They then moved up Main Street for their Tower of Power medley.
And closed the set in the hub.
Figaro and the blue bird have returned to Fantasy Faire.
A video clip of Figaro and the blue bird in action.
Dumbo had a short queue.. maybe 2 cycles.

Taken 1 minute after the previous picture,
The path to Black Spire Outpost
First Order Storm Trooper on overwatch.

Decided to see what the single rider wait looked like for Smugglers Run. Both sides were down the steps so I passed on riding.

A stroller parking area.. guessing for the marketplace? It seems out of the way, but it does have a little shade at this hour.
While walking through this area I heard a radio broadcast for droid games.
A brief video of some of the radio broadcast (the audio is a little hard to hear).

The lounge area and bar were fairly crowded so I just took some pictures from the walkway.
A couple of performers entertaining the crowd.
A look at some of the menu.
The Mandara Spa has closed. No indication of what will replace it.
The sign is still up.

No noticeable changes jumped out to me.
A look around the dining area.
Stopped by Paradise Gardens Park for the final Tale of the Lion King performance this evening.
With the sun setting earlier now the lighting has a bigger effect.
All set up for the World of Color dessert party. Surprised they are not selling a package for Tale of the Lion King. The view from there would not be too bad.
Stopped by Hollywood Land for the 8:45pm College Band set.
Splash Mountain 30th Anniversary shirts for sale
Main Street USA 10 minutes before the start of Disneyland Forever.
Main Street USA right before the lights went out. It filled in quickly.
Closed out my evening with Disneyland Forever.
No traffic on the exit ramps.
But cars were backed up on the exit route on the 5th level. Seems the merging into the driveway combined with cars backing out on the aisle and guest crossing were leading to a slow crawl to the ramp.
