Arrived a the Disneyland Resort just before 1pm and found no line at the Mickey and Friends toll booths but traffic on the ramp to the floor was at a stand still. It finally started moving and 5 minutes later I was parked.
The view from the 5th floor of the Pixar Pals Parking Structure. They were cleaning the load station, so this part of the project looks to be wrapping up. The garage is expected to open in about two weeks.

The gates and security barriers are in place for this access road between the two structures.

Moving around to the front side of the structure. They were installing a fence today so they can block off the current tram route to be worked on in the very near future.

You can see the poles for the new fence making a left. Escalator work is ongoing.

Gates are installed now and preparations for more fences around the planter on the left (notice the holes cut in the concrete).

Escalator testing was underway. They were in motion.

Digital screens are installed and being tested over the queue entrances. These will be the bag check lines.
Painting the fences and gates is underway.
The last section of pavers near the unload area is being worked on and landscaping work is starting on the area between the tram way and unload. Also notice the light light poles are in with speakers which is new for the tram stop.
The perimeter fence has been painted and more landscaping has gone in.
Over by the elevator the fencing is going in around the planter.

A mild crowd at the entrance to Disneyland, DCA had no waits.
Tale of the Lion King starts today at Disney California Adventure and is featured on the park map and in the time schedule.

All quiet on Paradise Bay this afternoon.
Pixar Pier is more crowded today than my last couple of visits.
Mr. Potato Head is not performing.
A relatively new frozen treat item as several carts features Sweetarts.
The hope had been to go on the Pixar Pal-A-Round but it was over 20 minutes. So some ground level pictures of the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. No opening date yet, but final details are being applied.
The fences in the area are being repainted to match the color scheme for the new attraction.

Lion King popcorn buckets are now available at several locations in Disney California Adventure.
Lion King merchandise has taken over the gift shop as expected.
The merchandise is all generic Lion King. I did not see anything specific to the new show.
Only one shirt said Disneyland that I noticed (the gray one on the left), everything else was generic Lion King it looked like.

All quiet as I approach Disneyland.

As we headed to its a small world, Soundsational was just stepping off.
Time for its a small world, only a couple minute wait since we were directed to the side with a line (the other side had no wait and guests were just walking on).

Main Street USA is red, white and blue for the summer.
Disneyland Forever returned tonight. The show was created for the parks 60th anniversary. Here are a couple of video clips of the opening and finale.
The show was about 10 minutes late this evening due to technical difficulties.
The Arcade lights stayed on again.
More lights were on at the Pixar Pals Parking Structure this evening.
There was a team working near the elevators, it was about 10pm.
