Starting off this visit checking out Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
Not a lot of visible progress from this angle. The background spires seem to be stalled.
More scaffolding down from these formations in the middle of the project.
It looks like some of the scaffolding is down from the dome structure in the middle. And the rock on the right is progressing.
Only a little scaffolding up in the next section.
Some scaffolding up on this last section

A closer look at this area of the project
Looks like the back side will have some sort of cover on it in this area.
This formation looks just about complete.
Looks like they are starting to close in the large access opening.
Moving on to the parking structure project. Most of the supports are now removed from the escalator structure so you can see it clearly. They were pouring support columns on the 5th floor.
The support structures for the escalators are poured and ready to go.
One for the one leading to the top floors.
Working on the footers for the lower level escalator on the left.

Another angle of the work on the escalator structure.

From above
Another concrete pumper sending concrete to support columns for the next floor it appeared.
Looks to be a floor for a 2nd level going in for the space that has been built on the lower level. Notice the brick wall rebar extends upwards more.
A closer view of the concrete pumper boom
Support columns have forms around them for the extension of the ramp to the 6th floor.

Many of the coiled cables have been installed now.

Here are a couple video clips showing the Pixar Lamp, Luxo Jr., in action.
Paradise Bay this afternoon.
The LampLight Lounge sign is still the temporary one.
The bay looked a little cleaner this week, less brown.
As I walked around Pixar Pier I overheard a couple of groups talking about the overlay and the comments revolved around the thought it was temporary just for the summer and surprised it is still Pixar Pier.
No sign of Bing Bong yet.
Wanted to go for a spin on the Pixar Pal-A-Round but the thought of standing in a line that stretched almost to the top of the ramp in the 90 degree weather did not sound fun so I kept walking.
Coco was still being celebrated in Paradise Gardens. This is the final weekend before Christmas takes over.
A fair number of guests moving around. No sign of the Festival of Holiday marketplaces yet.. but they will be in place by next Friday for the opening of the Christmas season.
Spotted something new along the trail in the Grizzly Recreation Area. Boxes on several of the posts.
These appear to be snow machines. Another plus for the area for the holidays.
Also spotted additional speakers on several of the trees (a little hard to see with the shadows).
The bears at the entrance to Rushin' River Outfitters are decked out for the season. A bear wearing a sweater in 90 degree weather helps to set the Christmas mood.
Inside Christmas has taken over most of the store.
Ornament customization is available here too.
The large bear has traded his trick or treat basket for a Christmas sweater.
Grizzly River Run was down when I walked by.
Further down the trail just the regular holiday decorations are up, no additional boxes. They were only on the first section from the Bay Area to Redwood Creek area, stopping before Rushin River.
Halloween decorations removed from most of the entrance areas, no sign of Christmas yet.
One area still had Halloween up.
On Main Street USA garlands are on several of the buildings now.

No changes but just liked the picture of this structure through the trees with the shadows on it.

Paid a visit to the Gag Factory since I had not been inside in a while.
A quick video from my look around the Gag Factory in Toontown.

Passing through Flo's on my way to Radiator Springs Racers. The signs look to have seen better days.
Had FastPass for Racers and wanted to use it but this was the return line. I hesitated then bit the bullet to wait.
Moved a little faster than I had thought. Only 3 minutes to enter the queue but I could see it backed up ahead.
6 minutes to the water tower
No secondary scan today.. 14 minutes from entering line until I was about to board.
On my way. 15 minutes. Longer than I would have wanted to spend but still not too bad. The stand by line was barely moving because of the long FastPass return line.
Racing through Ornament Valley
Grabbed dinner at Smoke Jumpers than headed out through the airfield. Christmas decorations are up.
The lights along the trail are on.
There are two new dryers located across from the Rushin' River Outfitters so you can warm up and dry off after experiencing Grizzly River Run.
One is accessible with a ramp too.
The cost is $5 for about 3.5 minutes of heat lamps and air. You and 4 friends can crowd in (the posted limit is 5 guests).
In the couple minutes I was in the area no one gave them a try. It was still in the 80s so no real need for dryers.
Used a FastPass for Toy Story Midway Mania. My score turned out ok but I left a lot of points on the table and was no where near any of the high scores as usual.
No signs of progress on the mechanisms under the gondolas on the Pixar Pal-A-Round. My hope was to get in a spin before it became too dark.. but due to slow loading and one group wanting off on the cycle before mine it did not happen as planned.
A check of the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind site this evening.
The sun had set and the final glimmers of light were fading fast as I made my round.
Pixar Pier and beyond Cars Land.
Way too dark to make out anything on the Marvel project today.

Walking back through the Grizzly Recreation Area after dark.
The dryers are lit up well.
A couple walked up and decided to use one. They viewed it as a photo booth/opportunity. They were not on the ride. And took turns inside and taking pictures.
I did not want to intrude so I only took this one picture from the side. The system is basically a series of heat lamps that turn on and then some fans the circulate the air around. They were commenting how at first it felt like nothing but then heated up quickly.
The Nutcracker preview was a ghost town. No signs of guests in the couple minutes I was in the area.
Gone Hollywood has gone Christmas, here is a quick look around.

Just after this the show e-stopped and was cancelled. Not sure what was going on.. the wind did not seem to be an issue. The smoke was rising nearly straight up.
