The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
When I arrived at the Disneyland Resort my car said it was 100 degrees in the Mickey and Friends Parking structure.
The work on most of the floor of the structure has wrapped up. The new brickwork around the escalator areas.
The green tile is the original flooring.
Next up a view of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge construction from the top floor of the parking structure.
The concrete building has some HVAC equipment on the roof but not a lot of other visible changes from this angle.
The roof of the Battle Escape building looks to be complete, not a lot of other visible changes.
On the Disneyland Drive side of the building work continues on the exterior wall supports.
The wall has started to be installed on the far side and lower portion.
In the background you can see the Millennium Falcon building. The roof looked poured there too.
A wider view of the site.
A closer look at the concrete building.
A closer look at the roof of the Battle Escape. You can see some steel on the far side for the exterior facade.
A lot of HVAC and other equipment being installed on the roof.
A closer look at the steel support structure for the exterior rock work that will be on the park facing side.
A closer look at the Battle Escape Building. Inside looks like frames for walls are going up on the second story.
To get a feel for the size of the hanger space.. look at the concrete truck that was inside this afternoon
In the distance steel rising above the Millennium Falcon building that will form more mountains and rock work.
I was surprised they had not moved any further on finishing the wall connecting the concrete building to the other wall. Looks about the same as last trip.
The tents appear to be a break/lunch area for the construction teams. Beyond them is the entrance to Critter Country.
The Millennium Falcon building.
The flag and tree mark the highest point. This was raised into position since my last trip.
Backstage Slinky Dog from Paint the Night was visible in the parade warehouse.

A quick look around the section of the store closest to the parks.
Since it is a holiday weekend peak pricing is in effect. $124 for a one day one park ticket.
The Summer of Heroes sign at the entrance to Disney California Adventure is gone and the Halloween sign is starting to be installed.
After a stop at guest relations due to Max Pass issues time to head into the park. (Seems the system did not think I was in the park and they could not get it to work. So they ended up giving me a couple multiple experience passes good for anything anytime to make up for it).
If you were curious what they looked like..
It was good on just about any attraction in either park, no need for it to be a FastPass attraction.
Disney California Adventure Wait times at 3:13pm
At 3:15pm you could get Radiator Springs Racers FastPasses for 2 hours away. I cannot remember the last time I saw that. Usually if there are any they are for after dark by this time. Most days they are long gone though.
The poles on the right side of Route 66 in Cars Land are up and ready for Halloween decorations.
Mater has not decorated yet.
All was quiet at the Cozy Cone this afternoon. With the 100+ degree weather the meet and greet was moved to a spot in the shade on Cross Street.
Lizzie has decorated for Haul-O-Ween already. The rest of the residents will be in the coming days. HalloweenTime kicks off Sept 15th at the Disneyland Resort.
Another look at the empty Cozy Cone.

The work has wrapped up on the project to enclose a portion of the Standby queue for Toy Story Midway Mania.

Mickey passing through Town Square as I boarded the train.
Pulling into New Orleans Square Station.
The French Market is decorated for Halloween already.
Passing over Critter Country.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge construction is visible as you reach the Rivers of America.
I was on the left hand side so the view was new to me. Approaching the Critter Country Trestle
Looking toward Star Wars
This side gives you an up close look at the rock work and water falls.
Looking across my car as the train rounded the bend to the right along the Rivers of America.
The new left turn as we turn away from the river.
Still some work to do on the berm. Or maybe the plan is to just give a glimpse into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. For now you see a construction fence.
Approaching the Toon Town tunnel.
My stop..
Goofy water is a must on days like this.
New pay points area being installed around the parks.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge from Toon Town.
Looked at my watch and realized only had 15 minutes until the last cruise of the Mark Twain left. So started to head that direction.
Passing Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Arrived with 5 minutes to spare.
The top deck was closed for this cruise. Assuming because of the heat. It was still in the upper 90s.
Crews were preparing for Fantasmic this evening.
Passing by Critter Country.
Splash Mountain had gone down and guests were being walked off.
The Battle Escape show building is visible through/above the trees.
The crane was in the perfect spot to block the view of the steel work today.
The waterfall was off as they were preparing to bring out the boats for Fantasmic.
Here you can see the Battle Escape Building. The exterior wall on this side looks mostly up and the steel supports for the rock facade are taking shape.
A new Annual Passholder popcorn bucket/refill deal has started.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge from the Critter Country fence.. nothing to look at.
The Mark Twain steaming into position for Fantasmic.
When I entered Disneyland my MaxPass started to work again. so I booked some FastPasses. I had a FastPass for Buzz Lightyear but it went down during my window so it became a Multiple Experience pass for Disneyland only and restricted to FastPass attractions (unlike the other one I received).
A queue set up for wheelchairs at Indiana Jones. This may have been around for a while but with the normal crowds I did not notice it. Today with the thin crowd it stood out to me.
Speaking of standing out.. this speaker along the Big Thunder Trail. Also interesting it points to the water.
A great view of the rock work in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge right now since no other buildings started to go up yet.
On the right hand side the wire mesh is starting to be installed.
All was quiet on the trail this evening.
Toad Hall as the sun was starting to sset.

I used one of my multiple Experience FastPasses and it took my only 12 minutes.
Next door Mr. Toad only had a 10 minute wait posted.
Around the corner Alice had a 30 minute wait posted. I used my second FastPass and was onboard in only a couple minutes.
The crowds were waiting for the second Soundsational of the day, since there is no nighttime parade there is a 7pm Soundsational on weekends.
Only a 10 minutes wait for the Matterhorn this evening and 5 minute return time for FastPass. (It was 7:15 when I took this picture).
Soundsational making its way through the park.
Space Mountain is closed through the 15th as Ghost Galaxy is installed. A little hard to see but up on the left the speakers are out already.
Radio 70s at Tomorrowland Terrace as the summer concert series draws to an end this week.
Next stop Buzz Lightyear to use a FastPass.
Thanks to the attraction stopping for a minute in a perfect spot I set a new personal best.. not sure it should count though. My score ended up being 1,444,700 which was good enough to land me at #7 on the list for the day.
The Corn Dog wagon area is closed for renovation.
A check of Disneyland waits at 8:23pm
On Pirates this seemed odd.. this was off to the left after the second drop.
I exited Pirates about 5 minutes before Fantasmic was to start. Decided to try my luck and found a good stand by view.
I was centered with the projector nearest the Haunted Mansion.
Pirates of the Caribbean segment.
The new projectors are extremely clear on the water screens.
Does this count as a hidden Mickey?
The Dragon spat fire a couple times but the river did not catch fire tonight.
As soon as Fantasmic ended I made my way quickly to Main Street arriving as Julie Andrews wrapped up her introduction so I stopped to enjoy Remember Dreams Come True from near the Cinema to close out my evening.
