Disneyland Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
This trip marked my 13th trip of the year, appropriately enough on Friday the 13th. Also the first of my new Disneyland signature pass (top). First time since 2000 that I have had a pass with block out dates.
A wide view of the Star Wars site from the 4th floor of the garage.
Zooming in you can see a large mound of dirt on the site now as they re-confiigure the old berm and river.
Panning across the site from left to right.
Here you can make out the wooden fence on the Big Thunder Trail in the center.
A closer shot. Will have pictures from there in a couple of pages.
The archway is left but nothing else in the old Big Thunder Ranch area
The old skyway building is now clearly visible. Unfortuantely Disney filed a permit last week to remove it. So soon it should disappear too.
Off to the right more backstage support buildings have been removed since my last trip. It appears to be cleared all the way to Critter Country now.
Speaking of Critter Country. You can now see into the park. You can see the wall by the canoes and on the right the Hungry Bear.
Here you can see the new fence line and how it goes to the show building for Winnie the Pooh.
A clip of the site taken from the Mickey and Friends parking structure.
Here you can see the Disneyland Railroad tunnels. The one on the right is the one the trains used most recently.
Moving to the right.
In the foreground they are sorting out debris from the demo work and not sure what they crew in the middle of the picture is doing.
A closer look.
A wider look.
There were several large earthmovers cruising the site adding to the large mound of dirt on the former Circle D site.
Another look at the Skyway building

The buildings are gone but the concrete slab they were on still remains and some other elements.
Working on clearing the plants and other debris from the berm.

Notice no more nets along the rail of the boats.
The boats have been retrofitted with runners/fins that are used to stabilize them in the dock area now.
The dock has been altered to better hold the boat in place for loading and unloading and they no longer need to tie them off.

Heading out into the jungle.
