The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Arriving at the Disneyland Resort. Visible progress is slow on the work in the Pinocchio Parking lot.
From what I have read/seen this will be a support facility for the trams. It is being relocated from backstage at Disneyland as part of the Star Wars project.
A lot of trams not in use this afternoon.
The construction from ground level.
A small area on the other side of the roadway is also fenced off.
Downtown Disney changed the parking rules/rates recently. You now get 2 hours free and an additional 2 with validation. It is $12 an hour after that with a max of $36 for the day.

Ready to set sail.
Here is a point of view video taken from the railing as close to the front point as possible without getting ropes in the shot.
The camera was just to the right of the center ropes if you were curious looking forward.
I had a request for some pictures of the Dawn Redwood tree in Frontierland. So here are a couple.
A healthy line to meet Jack and Sally
Jack Skellington
Christmas has arrived in New Orleans Square.
Wonder if this is to hide his eyes from the line for the Haunted Mansion or the new bridge in New Orleans Square.
A new walkway has been installed spanning from the second floor of New Orleans Square near the Club 33 Jazz Lounge to the Train Station near the exit/wheelchair ramp.
It appears to be a temporary ramp with some minor theming elements on it.
My best guess is this will be used during the up coming railroad closure by cast members.
From the other side.
A closer look where it connects
More Christmas decorations in New Orleans Square.
They appear to be the same as usual, nothing jumped out as drastically different or new.
The Big Thunder queue has taken over Zocalo Park
The menu boards inside received some decorations for the season.
Some Halloween offerings
No visible progress on this walkway.

Christmas Duffy.
Treasures in Paradise has an interesting assortment of merchandise... Duffy, princess, Star Wars and Christmas are the big sections.
Star Wars Christmas sweaters
More Star Wars
Good Dinosaur toys
Other Good Dinosaur merchandise
The Cove Bar expansion. The railings look to be removed.
Donald passed by as I was walking the Pier.
I went for a spin on the Fun Wheel. Noticed this Zephyr waiting to be swapped into the attraction.

Oops forgot to focus.. the Cove Bar expansion involves replacing the boardwalk.

Going to miss this view and portion of the trip when it closes next year.
Small World is closed for the holiday makeover. It returns next week.
The exterior looks to be ready to go with the lights installed.
Heading into Toontown. The entrance is still set up for Halloween with one more party to go Saturday.
But inside Christmas is taking over.
The center area is still Halloween
And no Christmas decorations up on the businesses that surround the center area.
But the houses are decorated.
Over to Tomorrowland. Looks like a row or maybe two of tables have been removed from the Tomorrowland Terrace. In preparation for the large crowds?

Disneyland waits at 8:15pm. Notice the 2 hr wait for Haunted Mansion and Ghost Galaxy.
A closer look at the Halloween Tree in Frontierland
A sign to help you find your color section for Fantasmic. Not very well marked and I overhead a lot of confused guests trying to find their zone.
Critter Country has some Christmas decorations up.
I found a spot for Fantasmic
The Columbia passing by.
Fire... Maleficent in Dragon form lighting the Rivers of America on fire.
The Mark Twain during Fantasmic
Steamboat Willie at the helm.
I opted to head for Main Street after Fantasmic. Arriving just as Disneyland Forever was starting. The street was crowded as usual so I went to Town Square to try the view from there vs pushing into the crowd. The projections are not that good from this angle.. and they did not photograph well either.
I did get a fairly clear view of the Matterhorn though.
So I tried out front for the finale to wrap up my visit.
