Disneyland Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
The exit to the Mickey and Friends Structure still has just the 60th Anniversary Banner.. guess no Halloween Banner this year.
The back hills of Toontown look really faded.. even in this overcast lighting. Guessing nothing is being done because of upcoming Star Wars Land work.
Speaking of Star Wars Land.. in a few months we should start to see clearing here.
Some work has started in the Tram parking area of the Pinocchio Lot.
They are removing asphalt and some trees. My understanding is some support facilities will be relocated here from backstage as part of the Star Wars project.
The windows at the tram stop now advertise Aladdin on Home Video and the Good Dinosaur coming to theaters in November.
Today is a Halloween Party night. Signs up for those guests.
No Halloween banners in Downtown Disney this year.
The word of the day. Has anyone every won anything? I have not really heard of any winners. The do not seem to publicize it much.
More walls up around trees near the ticket booths.
Speaking of tickets Annual Pass prices have increased substantially since my last visit.
Plenty of signs for the party telling guests what is going on. Seems something more show ready could be done.

A closer look.
Looks like the one remaining tree at the point is dying at GRR.
Signage at the FastPass machines now saying what show they are for and time. This is in preparation for Christmas when they will be running both Celebrate and Winter Dreams. Anyone know if they are allowing a choice of times early in the day now? All were 10:15 when I was there.
Some work going on in the riverbed between the park and Grand CA.
Paradise Park

It is too bad the projector housings do not submerge/hide anymore. The fountains were submerged at least.
The boardwalk is looking great with the new boards.
Still several areas to go.

A sneak peek of the Good Dinosaur is playing in the Bugs Theater now.
The sign for the preview
Warnings.
No changes to the queue.
Nothing inside either except a different background track playing. Guessing from the film.

A quick cell phone video looking at the cake/tree.
Heading back to the parks via Downtown Disney. A random picture of a shirt in the World of Disney window.
Another tree in a box.
Arrived at Disneyland. Hard to believe it has been almost a month. Time flies..
The Main Street USA pumpkin.
Pop Secret signage here too and Halloween popcorn buckets at most if not all carts.
A new Emporium window has been unveiled recently featuring Toy Story. Here are a couple pictures I check back later when the glare was better..
A video clip of the Toy Story window in action. This clip is a fairly tight shot of the dance segment due to the reflections/lighting. Better video later in this picture set.
Wait times just before 3pm

Random shot overhead.
the Rivers of America this afternoon. Enjoy the views before the walls go up and it is drained for the next year. Hopefully they come up with a workable solution to reopen this front portion earlier.

The ranch was closed as they set up for the Halloween Party this evening.
Woody was along the Big Thunder trail for pictures.
When I walked through an hour ago a guest had just spilled popcorn. I remember since I avoided stepping in it. Now an hour later it is still there.. well what had not been tracked elsewhere by guests.
The Disneyland Band in Frontierland.
As the evening approached more and more Halloween party items took over the park. One of the things that bothers me with the party is the impact on day guests. At 4:20pm why should I see this in Frontierland. It has nothing to do with the show. The party starts at 7pm. I understand logistically it is a challenge to set up closer but still the impact on regular guests is poor show.
The Halloween Tree
No visible progress on the work between Frontierland and Fantasy Faire
This line stretched back and around the coffee stand in the hub.
Walking through Frontierland.
Big Thunder was using the extended queue today.
Next up a cruise aboard the Mark Twain. Wanted to try and take a wide video from the upper deck. That failed due to them having the top deck closed and by the time I figured that out no spots on the lower two that would work.
Looks like some painting in Frontierland.
Time to set sail.
A couple random pictures from the cruise.
Some video clips of my trip around the Rivers of America. Nothing new or interesting but figured I would take some video for the archive.

Back to the Toy Story window for another pass.. as it got darker the photo ops became better.
More Halloween Party preparations in the hub. Still over an hour till it starts.
Monsters University takes over Tomorrowland Terrace for the party.
With the lights on the writing is easier to read.. too bad the building does not rotate anymore.. would be interesting to read as it moved.

More party prep in the walkways.
Toontown was open for party guests only as of 6pm.
Taking the Big Thunder trail. A lot of smoke near the mine shaft across from the BBQ.

Some projections on the castle too but hard to see from down the block.
A series of video clips of the projections on Main Street USA for the Halloween Party.
One last shot before moving on. It was only 7:15pm but cast members seemed anxious for day guests to leave, even though the announcement said an hour of shopping which mean 8pm cast members were telling me I needed to clear by 7:30pm.
A quick look at the train station on my way out.
Back to DCA, along with a large number of other guests.
The Good Dinosaurs at night.
As I mentioned the park felt very crowded. Lines were long for food and the restrooms.
A large model from Mattel (looks to be the same one that was at the D23 Expo) has taken over a portion of Sarges (the side closest to Flos).
A closer look at the model.
Some neon issues at the Cozy Cone tonight. The tel was nothing lighting on this side of the sign.
