Disneyland Resort Pictures
The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
As you arrive at the Disneyland Resort they ask if you are aware of the Selfie Stick Ban and offer this handout at the parking lot toll booths.
The information is repeated in 9 languages.
Walking to and through the tram stop there are several signs too. Once you board the tram they made an announcement too.
As you approach the security tents signs are up too.
So if you reach security and are not aware of the ban you really are oblivious or purposely not paying attention.
The word of the day on Friday/ Also not no attractions listed as closed (Innoventions & Magic Eye Theatre I guess do not count).
No lines at the ticket booths this morning, this was around 7:30am
Looking toward DCA and the back of Soarin.
In the park about 10 till.
Passing by City Hall. They are ready for a line, but right now all is quiet.
Some painting going on.
Thought maybe the next window would be unveiled this week, no such luck.
Walking up Main Street USA on this overcast morning.
You could walk all the way up to the hub then they had to roped off until park opening.
As soon as the ropes were dropped a large mass of guests moved quickly to Fantasyland.
Here is a video of the opening moments. There is a new 60th spiel and then you can see the mob move toward Peter Pan.
We came to a halt here as the mass of guests was funneled into the queue.
Inching closer.

The United States Air Force Honor Guard approaching.
I thought this was odd staging. The two holding the banner stood right at show center the entire time blocking the view and so close to guests you could not get a picture of it really.
Some stills of their performance (Video clips at the end of this sequence).
Video clips of the United States Air Force Honor Guard performing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle
The Peter Pan line this afternoon. Posted at 60 minutes. It looked slightly shorter than this morning but you are standing in the afternoon sun vs the cool morning fog.
Nothing open at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree today.

Main Street USA at 3:50pm. No one seems to want to wait for the 4:30 parade on the East side of the street in the sun. It was about 80 degrees today.
