The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
Decent lines at the ticket booths this morning as I arrived at the parks.
The lines to get into Disneyland
The Main Street Train Station has returned to operation.
This evening there is an Annual Passholder event.
Surprised to find princesses out front of the Train Station still.
The Town Square side of the train station.
Spring is in bloom around the park.
The Queen of Hearts passing by.
The description for Todays event. Wristbands were being distributed at the Opera House.
Heading up Main Street USA
It was officially announced last week that Starbucks is coming and the Market House and Disneyana will be closing in April to make way for it.
The wait times just before 11am
Seems like this can be a new attraction... the stroller showcase as you walk around the hub.
Stopped by the Royal Theatre to catch a performance of Tangled.
Mr. Smythe and Mr. Jones open the show.
Rapunzel joins them for her story.
Mother Gothel arriving.
Flynn Rider joins the cast on stage.
Ive Got a Dream
Maximus arrives.
When you watch the show, be sure to pay attention.. some of the one lines are great! For example after this scene as they are leaving there was a crack about the Back Side of Water.
A clip of I See the Light being performed.
A clip of the finale.
Figaro still trying to nap.
After the show Rapunzel and Flynn come out for pictures.
Walked through to Frontierland.
There was a lot of activity at Big Thunder this morning.
You can see Rainbow Ridge taking shape in the background.
Not much visible change at the station.
A crew working on the area that leads backstage. Guessing the switch track.
A mass of guests funneling into Pirates.
Nice and quiet along the Rivers of America right now.
The Mark Twain is still in dry dock.
Looks like some tree trimming has taken place recently.
A closer look
The deck of the Columbia were pleasant this trip. Not too crowded.
A couple of clips from the Columbia. First up a train of the Disneyland Railroad passing by. Then over to the other side to catch the cabin. I do not remember hearing the singing coming from the cabin in quite a while (it probably has but I never noticed it).
Scaffolding being prepared to go up on Big Thunder. As the track work wraps up the painting crews will be taking over.
Looks like they refinished the trash can on the Columbia recently. It looked rather clean.
Woody in the Big Thunder Ranch.
Thought this goat looked rather lazy with its leg out that way and sitting atop the barrels.
The lamb was hanging out in the shade.
The Cowboy Roundup was going on when I walked by.
Hmm.. seems time to update this now that spring has arrived.
Thought his was interesting. A single painter working on the fence.
Would have thought they would save the fence till after the rock work.
Another worker up on the track.
Looks like they have paused the Small World Mall painting project during the spring break rush. No scaffolding up this week, but still three or four towers to go.
About two months to go till the new show debuts.
Lighting and other rigging is being installed
So will Big Thunder be done before the Goofy Water? This project seems to be moving at a Floria pace! Cannot believe how long it is taking to replace two drinking fountains.
Goofys Backyard has reopened.
Looks like they may have resurfaced or at least cleaned it.
Some ducklings in the planter near the castle.
A crystal clear sky this afternoon.
Stopped by the Golden Horseshoe to catch the Billies.
Who recruited a guest to help them out.
The wait times around 12:45
Now over to DCA. The waits just before 1:00pm
As part of the Limited Time Magic promotion there was a Vinylmation Easter Egg Hunt going on this week.
You buy the map for $4.95 (no discounts) and then go off to find the eggs. Once you are done you head to Elias & Co to redeem your prize.
To redeem your prize you show them your map, they stamp it, then you pick an egg and get a Vinylmation keychain two pack.
The eggs are scattered around the park. I did not buy a map, but I did go seek the eggs. Mickey at the Carthay Circle.
Walked by the Red Car News Boys performance.
Any idea what this asphalt patch is for in the Wharf (it looked new but may have been there for a long time and I just did not notice).
In the Wharf Cafe there is Easter Bunny shaped bread this week.
Noticed these new Red to the Rescue Firefighter hats in Cars Land ($24.95 each).
Back to the Easter Egg hunt... can you spot Mater?
A closer look.
Route 66 was quite crowded as usual.
Lightening at the Curios store.
I bet the blue car wins!
Lightening pulling out to head to the Cozy Cone for pictures.
Surprised the line is set up for the Cove Bar this early in the day. It was not that busy.
Screamin was down.
The swings looked to be back together. I believe they are slated to re-open this upcoming week.
Mr. Potato Head was behind his curtain again or is it still from last week?
The current menu at Bayside Brews
I am still on the Easter Egg Hunt... Donald near the swings.
Can you spot Goofy?
Daisy near the Wharf.
No eggs.. just a random shot of Grizzly Peak this afternoon.
Dale hanging out near the Tower of Terror Fastpass Distribution. Notice the wait time.
Chip was across the street near the entrance to the attraction.
Can you spot Minnie?
The News Boys cruising down Hollywood Blvd after a performance.
It had been a while since I walked through Off the Page. Noticed the area that used to house the books, CDs, movies now has artwork.
Some random merchandise pictures.
The books have moved to where the artwork was, closer to the front door.
Time to find the last egg.. Pluto hanging out where else.. by the Hot Dog stand!
Disney Jr has reopened with an updated show. I did not visit Friday, maybe next trip.
The Carthay Menus have been updated for Spring.
Five and Dime performing.
Back to Disneyland.
Still some gardening work to do at Main Street station.
A long line for a character on Main Street, I could not see who was down there.
The potted plant is new, I think.
The exterior of the Main Street Station looks great. Look at the ceiling above the queue.
Noticed the lights have remained the same. Was curious if they were going to take this rehab as a chance to swap them out for LED lights.
Looked like more trees have been taken out (but then again I think the last several trips have been at night so this could have been done a long time ago).
Class of 2013 hats are out in several locations.
Walked through the Fantasy Faire and thought this was interesting. A Princess was escorted over from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and led right to the Royal Hall to meet the Disney Princesses. Is this an add on to a package? Or randomly selected guest?
Only two princesses on hand this afternoon.
If you walk by the Faire be sure to take a minute to look at the music box.
The scaffolding around the arch at Coke Corner is gone. Now just awaiting the signage and lights.
Did a pass through the Market House on my way to Town Square.
The spring/Easter windows (I stop by later when the glare is better).
Should be interesting what this looks like after the conversion to Starbucks.
While waiting to be let in for the Dave Smith presentation caught a little of Soundsational.
They still had some wristbands for the 7pm presentation.
The back of the sign about the event.
They let us in the Opera House and scanned our passes then everyone assembled by the theater doors.
Waiting for the presentation to being. They had a chair for Dave on stage and two displays set up to show his slides.
Shortly after 5:00pm Dave was introduced by a Cast Member and took the stage.
He sat down and began to show his pictures and talk.
My view was not the best and I did not want to get in the way of other guests so here is one wide shot of the scene.
Now some slides. Due to the refresh rate of the screens my pictures are pretty bad. For better pictures check out my D23 section and his presentation as part of the Destination D: Disneyland 55 event. This is a picture of the Disneyland Property.
The castle under construction.
Everyone know this attraction? Yes the Mad Tea Party. One child in the audience yelled out it was a hidden Mickey and Dave quickly responded that it sure does look like it, must have been the first one.
The Keel boats got a good response from the crowd.
The Chicken Plantation Restaurant that was removed for New Orleans Square.
Recognize the display case in this New Orleans shop? It was from 20K Leagues Under the Sea
Holiday Land tents.
The Motor Boat Cruise... not one of Daves favorite attractions.
The Flying Saucers.
He wrapped up with a picture of Walt.
Thank you Dave Smith for the great Presentation!
Mickey and Minnie were arriving in Town Square for pictures when I stepped outside.
Usually the Voices of Liberty only do one song outside then move inside. But due to the AP events they did an abbreviated set outside. There were a couple microphones set up so their voices could fill some of Town Square.
A clip of the Voices of Liberty
After their set headed back to DCA and decided to swing through Ghirardelli for some chocolate. The coffee/espresso machines seemed extremely loud tonight.
Random picture of the Cozy Cones with the Tower of Terror looming in the background.
There were a couple cast members on the roof of the firehouse. Of course they went out of site by the time I pulled the camera up to take a picture. Not sure what they were doing.
Racers were posted at 105 minutes only. Earlier in the day it was 180.
The Cozy Cones had some guests in the area, but not long lines.
Are these queue markers new?
The drink stand has returned to Bugs Land.
Walked through the Mad T Party.
Alice and the Mad Hatter
The eggs do not light up at night or have lights on them. So if you wanted a more challenging quest you can do your egg hunt after dark.
The light has been fixed on the Packard at Oswalds. Both were on this evening.
Back to Disneyland.
A look at the Market House windows.
The waits around 8pm.
This week all the lights were on at the Fantasy Faire.
A light out at Maurices
Time to head out for the evening and conclude this trip to the Disneyland Resort.
