The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.
The banner as you leave the parking garage was returned to Star Tours after the holidays.
Setting up a mesh around the La Brea Bakery as the remodel/expansion moves along.
First stop DCA... the facades are really taking shape and looking great!
The one above the restroom building has stucco already.
Noticed they have Minnie hands too (probably been selling them for years and I never noticed).
The back side of the restroom facade.
Looking down toward the Carthay there are now trees around the fountain.
GRR is down for its annual work.
Looks like they are going to be replacing some of the wood.
Wonder if this area will be repainted again.. the green looked odd to me.. too bad they cannot find trees that will last, I thought those looked good at first.
The Miner 49ers were performing, only a few weeks left in their run before the act is retired.
The Redwood Creek Trail is reopened.
You could smell the new paint/stain/sealer whatever you want to call it.
Nothing really new or different jumped out at me on my quick walk through.
Dug out for pictures.
Moving on down the trail scaffolding up as they are working on the building and the lift hill.
The rock face overlooking the Pier is nearing completion. Notice anything missing here? They have removed the safety line and poles that went across the top of the range.
Here you can see a section that still has it at the top.
More painting along the Pier.
The facade work on the shops is moving along. What a difference.
Looks like these signs or at least ones this size are staying. Since the wood is up around them now.
From the Fun Wheel.
A closer look.
A look at Cars Land.
The toothpicks are being removed on the rock face.
Looking through the arch you can see the pavement is in for the walkway.
Scaffolding is up on the back side of the range. They are working their way around covering it up.
All five cones are painted now.
A closer look. You can see the backstage wall taking shape behind the cones.
An even tighter shot for those that wanted to see up close. I like the detail. That looks like an A/C unit below the window.
Looks like the frame for a backstage gate being assembled behind the cones. Also looks like one of the Red Car garage doors is open.
The pavement work in front of the Little Mermaid sure looks done. Surprised the walls are still up.
Over at Maters more testing going on.
Not much visible progress here.
The Matterhorn.
More scaffolding is down on the radiator cap.
Looks like they are filling in the hole in the rock work along the track in the middle of this shot.
The gates are in and looks like the concrete too on the walkway from the Wharf to Cars Land.
A crew removing the toothpicks
A closer look at the midway shops work.
Almost all of the exterior stucco is now covered with wood siding.
Here is one section they are still working on. You can see they have the frame up but no panels yet.
A look down the Pier.
Some additions to the Bayside Brews menu.
The Ellis Island Boys performing at Paradise Gardens
A video clip from their performance.
Moving along to the Wharf here is another view of that crew removing the toothpicks.
Work has begun to transform the tortilla factory to the Ghirardelli
Due to the work on both sides it is a very narrow walkway to the first aid/baby care center.
The trees and lights that ring Cars Land look great!
No real visible progress on the entrance sign.
A look down Route 66
Plenty of Imagineers and workers over at Maters.
A closer look down the street. The large pile of landscaping dirt has been distributed.
The old farm building has been repainted.
Tires on the roof of the shack now.
No real visible progress on Sarges
Plenty of posts along the walkways.
Looking down toward Buena Vista Street palm trees have sprung up along the Carthay side and another view of the trees around the fountain.
Walls in Bugs Land. Appeared to be around the water fountain area. This made a narrow walkway even narrower.
The other side.
Lights on the posts in Cars Land that you can see from Fliks now.
The fountain was on today. As you can see the water was being blown around a bit.
The gutter work continues. Looks like they are making it more dull in color.
A look at the candy store sign, the scaffolding was removed. Looks like it has been aged or just primed??
A closer look at the detail work emerging on Buena Vista Street. This is above the ice cream store.
An Elias and Company sign taking shape.
This is the west side of the street.
A closer look at the fountain.

A group of tour guides/guest relations cast members being trained.
The coffee cart is behind walls.
No signs of work at Plaza Gardens yet... really seems like something should be going on.
The moon was visible already.
Some signs have gone up on the Matterhorn construction walls.
A closer look at them.
A trip on the Monorail. Notice there are still pieces of the old Golden Gate there.
Notice the Elias and Company sign on the left.
A closer look reveals something taking shape. Is this the base for the Walt and Mickey statue?
Back to Disneyland. The Matterhorn queue areas have all been removed.
Circling around a second time on the Monorail. The work continues on the center shuttle bus area.
Looking north now.
The Red Car station is starting to take shape I think (the bricks in the foreground/left of this shot).
I have failed to get a clean shot of Oswalds.. so here is a cropped and altered shot to sort of see what is going on.
Crews pausing to watch the Monorail go by.
Noticed a long line to get through the turnstile at the Downtown Disney stop. The Cast Member working it was examining hand stamps really closely and taking a long time. This is the same one that always seems to jam up the bag check line too.
The Lego Store is behind walls as work is getting under way to remodel and enlarge it.
Get it.. one block down....
They have moved into the old Island Charters space during construction.
Some large posters overhead.
As you can see the store itself is vary bare bones since it is temporary. And a very small space.
There are only a couple aisles inside. It felt a little cramped and odd to take pictures inside so I did not.
Moving on the work outside Catal is wrapping up in this area.
A little further down still an open trench.
The Soundsational parade greeted me on Main Street.
The barriers are down on the island. Does that mean the work is done?
New Orleans Square is decked out for Mardi Gras which is going to be celebrated for five weekends this year starting next weekend.
In an effort to ease traffic congestion they have moved the entrance to Cafe Orleans to the other side of the building.
A closer look at the beads on the light.
Nothing really set up in the courtyard yet.
The new entrance for Cafe Orleans.
Harbour Galley is now behind walls too.
All traces of the Lunar New Year are cleaned up.
Small World has reopened.
Looks like the clock can use some TLC..
A soldier is gone.
The queue area was blocked so you walked out near the parade route/extended queue.
Still no sign of the missing figure on the left.
A random shot..
Alice was down... it was back up later in the evening when I walked by.
The Disneyana store is still closed (set to reopen Sat morning so missed it by a day.).
Random decoration shot... goal was to frame the light in Walts apartment.. but too many people and not enough time to set it up..
Some lights on the fountain on Buena Vista Street.
A look inside the Carthay you can see the drop ceiling is going in.
Next up Cars Land.
A better shot of the newly painted farm building.
Som eof the lights that lined the walkway by Bugs Land were on.
A closer look at the mountain range. Guessing we have to be getting close to final lighting in some areas.
Ramones was lit up this evening.
A closer look.
From Fliks.
Only a couple more months till this is transformed to the Mad T Party
The large screen in the middle of the street was working this week. (when I walked by last week it was not).

A couple random Jolly Holiday Bakery shots.
The Lego store at night.
Gone with the Wind Valentines day weekend.
Walked through the Disneyland Hotel on the way out.
They are continuing to add details to the Fantasy Tower lobby. The entrance area was behind curtains. Looked like a permanent display/mural/something is going in.
New chandeliers in the lobby.
And new chairs/couches in the waiting area.
This works great!!
The far area is a kids waiting area.
Some work in the Adventure Tower lobby too.
Pavement is now in along the Fantasy Tower where the temporary lift was during construction.
