There were quite a few new plants along the riverbanks.. should be great in a couple years when they really fill in.
A new scene along the river.
The trees looked a little thin in this area and you could see the gator from Fantasmic.
There is now an area for a pony or horse with the Indians, no sign of any animals this trip.
The old mine train is gone. All that remains is the track.
Stopped by the ranch. Looks like Maggie did not like that ball..
The new sled for the Matterhorn is still on the tracks, underwraps.
Notice anything missing here? The buoy and seagulls are gone.
On the on the other tunnel, the adventureland side, there is a new Indy poster.
The featured chef of the day, Kerry Simon.
All the signs around the winery are blank.
A new cover is taking shape over the dining area.
Noticed they put heaters on it too.
Looking up to the second level you can see some new brackets..
The Cars Land steel is starting to take shape.
The lower boardwalk is still closed, but there are trashcans there and it looks ready to go. Best guess is it is closed so they can work on the World of Color equipment with no problems.
The scaffolding is down around the swings as they prepare to open soon.
Only 10 minute wait for Screamin this afternoon
The scaffolding is still up along the waterline as they finish the railings.

The seats are now replaced with red ones, guessing these are the final ones.
The new park area is looking great.
Over in Cars Land looks like quite a bit of concrete work is done with more to come.
The test car is on the track.
It was not doing anything Friday. But there were a couple of CMs in the area and a red light was flashing.
The Mermaid building is moving along.
Spotted this family of ducks.. the one got trapped for a moment as the platform was rising.
Still interesting to me how far they shifted the left most water screen.
The Muppet ship is still backstage.
They have started some more grading work to the left of the Racers
The forms and rebar are going up for more of the track foundation.
Looks like the concrete channel for this turn is done.
The left most platform was submerged.
Thought this was interesting. The diver was towing his barge back to the storage area.

The surfboard is gone again.
They started to cycle the swings.
Noticed what looks to be sand bags/weights on the edge of the platform.
The platform nearest the swings/zephyr they kept raising and lowering.
Still no water in the interactive fountain.

Over on the backlot a new lampost is visible behind the walls near Playhouse Disney (really surprised how long this small section is taking to finish).
No visible changes back here.. but I do spy a truck parked behind the wall.
Kind of interesting the sign was still running.
The celebrity chef of the day was Robert Irvine from Dinner Impossible.
The band was playing during the Meet and Greet.
I headed out to the Island to see what was going on there.

The grotto recently received some TLC.
Reunion was performing in Tomorrowland
Not much going on in Toontown.
Time for a twilight cruise on the Mark Twain. Thought this was interesting with the steam in front of Big Thunder.
There is no real lighting on the the new set pieces. So you have to rely on the spotlight from the Mark Twain and/or your flash..

Back to DCA.. the swings were lit up for the evening.
They were doing some light testing of the fountains.. looked to me they were waiting for everyone to leave so they can run the show.
Several fountains had minor problems and this tech was going around and working on them.
For example.. notice this one..
The large tent is gone from the far parking lot, looks like all the trams that are getting doors have them now.
