- Work continues on the Disneyland Railroad
- Main Street is nice and quiet this morning (everyone is rushing to their first attraction of the day)
- The tarp is still up on the roof
- All the walls in the queue are down
- The days are really flying by now..
- All the walls along the monorail queue are down too (for several more shots of the lagoon be sure to check out the Construction progress section on Monday morning)
- The tarps around Monstro are down, and he looks good as new
- Mr. Toad is open again too (I did not go for a spin)
- A peaceful walk through an empty Big Thunder trail
- A look out to the Island, where we are heading
- NOS is completely back to normal, the Premiere is long gone (even though it was only a week ago)
- The first raft of the morning, the Island opened at 8:30
- They are expecting a rather long wait it appears
- The Mark Twain is still covered up
- The new sign
- Here comes the raft back to get us
- Now we head into the cave

- If you try to reach in you learn the treasure is guarded

- When you reach your hand in this one it disappears
- The next window has a projection of a pirate taking the treasure
- The last room is a bit dark, but here you can make out a figure sleeping in the corner
- Back outside now on the other side of the Island
- There are quite a few new signs up around to help navigate the Island and show were the accessible areas are
- Here is the new Smugglers Cove area
- Next up to the treehouse
- Still some Tom Sawyer stuff on it..

- Inside there are some new things to look at
- Now we are out on the stage area that is used for Fantasmic and the new Pirates show, its called Lafittes Tavern, Pirate Point
- The building has been renamed
- The wheelchair lift is only partially themed

- Another sign up to help wheelchairs/ecvs navigate the area
- The Mill is now the W Turner Blacksmith shop

- Hmm.. they are aiming at the treehouse
- Now we are heading toward the back of the Island. There was a raft shuttling CMs (as we saw earlier) back and forth from near the Hungry Bear
- Looking up toward the fort
- The rumors circulating the internet say the fort is destine to be tore down in the coming weeks, and since there were work walls around it I believe its going to happen sooner rather than later...

- Another wheelchair lift, this one near the restrooms
- A much higher lift
- A photo spot is now set up on the far North/East point of the Island, this is just beyond the Secret Cave on the map

- A shipwreck is also nearby (this is the one that we watched being build from the main land over the past few weeks)

- Noticed it either ran into something or something hit it..

- Decided to make another pass of the fort

- On the raft back to the main land
- Spotted two guys painting the Mark Twain
- A Pirate is now posted near the queue to entertain you while waiting to go over to the Island
- Noticed an ad is up near the restrooms at the Hungry Bear now too (spotted one at DCA on the Wharf a couple visits ago)
- New balloons
- Work continues on the tree house, not much visible except that they closed up the hole where the new support attaches
- The line board around 10am
- Noticed some stuff up on the People Mover/Rocket Rod track, not sure what... probably has to do with the subs though
- A different pirate greeting you as you head to the Island (seems the same performers that were with the bootstrappers before and out on the Columbia)
- Speaking of the Bootstrappers they are now on the Island too
- Now a series of shots from the new Pirate show. (Note there are spoilers in here, both in the shots and my descriptions, if you do not want to know what happens skip ahead to page 61)
- The show starts off with two Pirates out on the stage and they talk with the Bootstrappers
- After everyone takes the Pirates oath the show begins
- Captain Jack Sparrow arrives on the scene
- I missed this guys name, but he appears and wants the map that Sparrow has
- As with all things Pirates things end up in a sword fight
- The fight sequence continues out on the edge of the stage (the Columbia happened to be going by and lent itself as a great backdrop)
- Jack find himself up on this pole
- Jacks back on the land and has the map again
- Jack tricks the other Pirate into going after a map he thinks is in the box
- Which turns out to be a fake and Jack has the real one and that ends the show.

- Now over to DCA for a couple shots of the Toy Story Mania
- Look for a more in depth pictorial in the construction progress section on Monday morning
- One of the Maliboomer towers is down for rehab again, seems fairly constant that one of the three is down
- Only a 10 minute wait for the raft ride
- Taste Pilots has lost its kiosks and is back to a more traditional style (this happened since last Friday when I ate there)
- Back to Disneyland and the Main Street band performing their lunch time set
- The line board around 12:20pm
- We are waiting for the 12:25 Pirate show to start
- Now some shots from this side of the River of the same exact show we saw earlier from the other side
- The Columbia had a fairly full deck
- I do not remember this rowboat before, this is docked near the mill (I mean blacksmith shop)
- Noticed this marker, wonder if its left over or of things to come.. this was about halfway from the cave to the fort
- A raft docked out by the cabin
- Speaking of the cabin, its had some work done to it.
- A new sign out on the Corn Dog stand (this is probably a couple weeks old, since prices went up then), noticed you can now get apple slices instead of chips.
