The text list below contains the captions of all images in the set.

  • A peak backstage from the garage.. nothing too exciting today
  • Looks like most of the painting is done
  • Wow quite a few people at the tram stop
  • A sign of things to come?
  • The Sub Fleet has returned to the lagoon
  • Look for many more photos of the sub lagoon work in a construction progress section Sunday morning.
  • No idea what this is.. looks like some sort of preasurized hoses..
  • The work at Club Buzz is moving along.
  • There was one guy working that we could see
  • He was assembling what appears to be supports for a cover (the pole to the left)
  • Here you get a better view of the supports and can see what appears to be a canvas cover on the ground.
  • Here is a closer view.. these are the points that attach (later in the evening these were on the top of the posts)
  • The Villians Layer is back (for the DVD release of Narnia they brought the Narnia sign back out)
  • Went for a trip on the Columbia
  • Still working in NOS
  • Wow look at the line for Tom Sawyer Island.
  • Quite a few guests by HM too.
  • And the canoes
  • The Lille Belle rolling by
  • A look below deck
  • A look toward Frontierland (I will try to get a crowd shots section together for later in the week).
  • In Adventureland a new crowd control measure was in effect.
  • The center area was ropped off and strollers were being parked there.
  • Each side was one way (North side was inbound toward NOS and South side outbound to Main Street)
  • This seemed to work really well. You were able to walk right through, it looks much more crowded than it felt. Unlike usual where traffic comes to a near stand still.
  • A quick look at the line board
  • CMs entertaining the crowd waiting for the parade
  • Another group of CMs/kids
  • A Cars sign is now up.
  • Work has begun on the Grand Californian side that faces DCA
  • Still working on the exterior of Golden Dreams.. inside nothing has changed..
  • Avalon Cove/Ariels seems to be all finished with its new paint job
  • As is this side of the Wharf
  • Back to Ariels
  • The wave machine was running, a little less power than before, but still running.
  • The signs look clean, new, or just brighter to me.
  • Now some shots of the Cafe
  • Work continues on the other side still
  • Now back to Disneyland. We had a request for a comprehensive look at the Main Street windows so we took a few minutes and walked the street getting them all (or at least I think I got them all).
  • So later this week or early next week I will run them (there are almost 70 shots I think in the set)
  • The Flag Retreat
  • A duck hanging out on Main Street
  • A look down toward the Castle
  • Now off to World of Disney and the large display of Pirates merchandise that has taken up the far entrance.
  • Next up dinner.. so hiked across the street. Noticed a new sign (well new to us, but its probably been there a while)
  • The large mosiac is now uncovered, it looks refreshed
  • Notice the discs on the poles, those are newly installed
  • One more lagoon shot (remember to check out the construction progress section Sunday)
  • The spider web has returned to the Haunted Mansion
  • This appeared to be resting on the balcony instead of standing upright..
  • A light is missing from the graveyard
  • Still do not like exiting Haunted Mansion and being dumped toward a Vacation Club cart
  • The Monsters Inc sign over on the DCA backlot
  • A couple random shots
  • I had not noticed that Alamo now sponser MM
  • Their logo shows up on two murals that I could see.
  • To close the update a look at the Electrical Parade
  • Which now has a sponsor too..
