    Looks like the photo backdrops were pushed out further to allow for a large dance floor area.

    4:59pm - 20 min wait posted for CarToon Spin so decided to head inside.

    The queue was backed up to this point which looked more than 20 minutes. So I turned around and walked out. The sign now read 40 minutes which seemed more accurate.
    Saw pictures of some boxes up in the castle forecourt recently. Looks like they may have done some work on the ground/compass points.

    6:01pm - Decided to take the Monorail to Downtown Disney. I was able to walk right onto a waiting train.
    Looks like they are just about ready to pour more concrete in this area of the Downtown Disney project.

    Turning around to head toward Downtown Disney. The walls are down and the area is wide open now.

    The new security checkpoint on the south side has opened. There was a constant stream of guests as this is the primary entrance for the parking lot, Pixar Place Hotel and Disneyland Hotel now.

    There are new restrooms just inside the checkpoint. Due to the line outside to come in I did not use the checkpoint to get pictures of it from the outside.

    The walls on the south side of the seating area seem to be pushed back further than I remember from my previous visit.
    The entrance walkway. The Michael Haggins Band was performing on the lawn. I pulled up a table with this view. You could hear great but could not really see.
