    Walking to the Disneyland Hotel. No more barriers in the parking lot along the walkway.
    The Disneyland Hotel flag was MIA today.
    The Coffee House is only open in the morning.

    Time to check on the Disney Vacation Club Tower construction.
    The temporary supports look to be in place for the second floor and crews were working on the floor today. Assuming they are setting up the rebar structure and preparing for the next concrete pour.

    No one enjoying the fireplace this afternoon. All those signs say you have to see a hostess to be seated.
    Moving on to the Downtown Disney work. From ground level you can hear equipment working but cannot see anything.

    On the right is the end of the Lightning Lane for Star Tours, it is a little backed up at the moment.

    Buzz Lightyear's Lightning Lane was using an extended queue too.
    Small World Lighting Lane was also backed up (I was seeing a trend as I walked around).

    As expected no visible progress at Toontown. You could hear equipment at work, sounded more like compacting than demolition.

    Decided to watch the 1:30pm Mickey and Friends Cavalcade. Today is Tokyo Disneyland's 39th anniversary and this cavalcade features the music from the 35th Brand New Day, as well as the drum float from Happiness is Here parade. Here is a video of todays

    Interesting message popped up when I opened the Disneyland App to check something. Genie+ options were quickly disappearing for the day so they were warning guests to look before purchasing.

    Thought about Soarin (since I have not seen the Soarin' Over California film since its return) but the posted wait was over an hour, the extended queue in use and Lightning Lane backed up to Smokejumpers so I opted to keep walking.
    No backup for Grizzly River Run LL at the moment (it was cooling down quickly and in the mid 60s).
    All quiet at the Festival Merchandise area too.

    Standby guests were boarding faster than Lightning Lane guests this evening.. since they did not have to spend the time to scan each ticket.
